We were staying here as a special treat for our 45th wedding anniversary. It was a trip down memory lane as we had our honeymoon in Guernsey all those years ago,. After a glitch on arrival, not being given the balcony room we had booked, we were worried. We didn’t need to have been, Johal Scott the manager went above and beyond for us. We were moved the next day to an amazing upgraded balcony suite and wine was sent to our room. The fault was not with Johal but the travel agent we used. However he took ownership of it and we were so grateful there was no hassle just charming customer care. We loved staying at The Duke of Richmond and were sad to leave.
