Very friendly welcome, helpful staff, always happy to help. Hotel is clean, tidy and very welcoming. Breakfast was gorgeous and plenty of it. Freshly cooked and very tasty. Rooms are lovely and very comfortable Only complaint and very small one, bar rices are HIGH

Absolutely fantastic experience...and now I know more about Gin!! Nibbles were amazing. A MUST experience for all. The host was very informative, engaging and entertaining. Thank you for such a brilliant presentation....first class. PS: member my banana infused Gin suggestion for the future .

We stayed here for a week. The room was very well- equipped. The only omission was a fridge. The bed was really comfortable and room service excellent. We had a lovely view of the open park just across the road. The standard of decor and communal accommodation was very high and stylish. Now to the reception staff- so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The concierge was very personable and the Manager was around quite a bit interacting with guests. Having a joke or giving advice about sightseeing. Really nice! The restaurant staff were outstanding too. Always smiling and very efficient. Very slick service because there are plenty on duty and well- trained. The food was first class. Great breakfast choices. Dinners also were excellent. The scallops were the best I’ve tasted. I really can’t fault this hotel! We had a great stay.

My wife attended the 2024 First Class CW Operators' Club (FOC) Gala and meeting. Notwithstanding the A/C outage one night which made sleep impossible, Johal Scott, Director of Sales, was very attentive to our needs and our stay was wonderful. All of our meals in the hotel restaurant/bar were great, and the waitstaff were very, very good. HIGHLY recommend the Duke of Richmond for anyone visiting Guernsey Island!

Our third visit to this WONDERFUL hotel. It was special as it was our Diamond Wedding annivesary. As before we found accomodation superb, everything really top notch.The Bedroom and Bathroom clean to a very high standard. The staff as before were very attentive and welcoming,meal times, led by Nicolas with his team ,made our stay a delight,with extra special little things done for our anniversary.A very worthy hotel , 4star plus.We will be back again sometime. THANKS TO ALL the Staff.

We have just returned from 11 lovely days in this beautiful hotel. From the moment we checked in until our departure this morning I couldn’t say enough good things about our entire experience. Every member of staff we encountered was professional, helpful & friendly. The bar provided amazing cocktails in addition to an excellent wine menu. Food in the restaurant on every occasion (breakfast, lunch & dinner) was of the highest quality. Extra little touches such as welcome & leaving gifts & the lovely complimentary cool drinks at reception (different recipe every day) all added to a truly wonderful time. We felt very much at home in this beautiful hotel & hope to return again in the future!

Everything was excellent- comfortable room, lovely food , little touches such as a cool drink available in reception. But most noticeable was the warmth, friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff-reception, restaurant , cleaners etc. We would definitely return.

We were made very welcome and the meal on the first night was lovely. Asked for a walk in shower- this was sorted next day in a superior room at no extra charge- it was empty anyway! Great service and information from Reception. Jessica deserves special mention for her skills in all areas. A missed cocktail class (Travelzoo's fault?) was remedied by referral to the Master cocktail man, Paul, and we enjoyed his offers and conversation. A delightful cheeseboard was also provided. Thank you all at the Duke of Richmond.

Wonderful staff, lovely hotel, great location. Would highly recommend the afternoon tea - all made in house. The restaurant food is also extremely good. Beds very comfy and pillows as soft as marshmallows. It’s in a good location, a ten minute walk to the little shopping area and the harbour but if you have difficulty walking it’s uphill all the way back though there are plenty of taxes to get you back. Would definitely stay again.
