Premier Inn Guernsey St Peter Port (Admiral Park)

We stayed for 3 nights. We arrived to a broken toilet seat and only one towel between us. We reported the toilet seat immediately. The following day after returning from a day out the toilet seat had not been touched and we had been left one town again despite requesting two. We reported the toilet seat again and requested a second towel again. After returning from a day out the toilet seat had again not been fixed and again we had one towel. At this point I decided to raise a complaint with Premier Inn through their website as nothing was getting done by the staff onsite. I was advised that the offsite team could not do anything while we were still at the property!! Therefore we were in a position whereby the onsite team were doing nothing about our requests and the offsite team who we contacted because we were not getting any service from the onsite team would not help us because we needed to lettuce onsite team resolve our issues!!! You couldn't make it up.

Waited over an hour to check in with small kids. Waited for an ice cream for like 45 mins then just gave up.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel so I know the hotel can run smoothly and almost be good value for money. However, in the 9 months since I was last here, it seems that the hotel is very understaffed and the customers have paid a price as a result. During our 3-night stay, it was the same two staff members trying to run reception, the restaurant and maintenance all at once. We felt very sorry for them because they were trying their best but it just seemed like they needed more people there. My family reported a problem with the bathroom twice with no solutions provided. We overheard a lot of other guests reporting similar problems. Also, the room was not cleaned when asked and only one towel was provided for two people. We asked for more towels but these requests were ignored, along with fixing a broken toilet seat. My family also contacted Premier Inn online but they say they are unable to help until you have checked out - what is the point of that? On a more positive note, the rooms are comfortable and I did get 3 good sleeps! The breakfast and dinner was also delicious. It is also not too far away from St Peter Port as it is a nice 25-minute walk to the main attractions and there is also a bus from outside the hotel to town. However, although this is one of the cheaper hotels in St Peter Port, it is very overpriced for the service you receive. Our stay cost approximately £400 for three nights, which is very expensive for the issues and service described. It's such a shame because this hotel has so much potential and I had a great stay last time! I think they just need more staff, particularly when the hotel is fully booked.

Although the room could accommodate three people (double bed and a single bed) there was only one set of towels. Also I felt there should be two pillows each. The receptionist was over-worked having to check people in, serve at the bar AND find me a bath towel. It took another day to acquire a second pillow. Luckily I am able to walk the distance to St Peter Port and we managed to use the buses on occasion. However, traffic was often moving at walking pace. Guernsey roads are inadequate for the large amount of traffic. I would go to the Premier Inn again. Nearby restaurants e.g. Otto's were good.

Basic hotel which was all we needed but breakfast was a disappointment, long waits for rubbery baked eggs and never had everything cooked available at the same time. I don't enjoy eating in shifts. According to other guests we were lucky not to have booked dinner.

The same set up as the other Premier Inn i’ve been too. But, all windows sealed still. Make it impossible to get fresh air from outside for a bit. I’m sire someone mentioned about this before. Receptionist is not welcoming at all except maybe 1 day during our stay. Staff moving like robot and zombies.

Not enough coffee pods in the upgraded room and the coffee machine leaked but cleared up and emptied in between drinks other than that usual premier inn - good bed - clean - could do with a better standard hairdryer - all good

Stayed here for 3 nights - and as the other reviews mention - understaffed and some of the staff were quite rude. Breakfast was dreadful- paid £9.99 - nothing ready cooked and they weren’t busy - waited half an hour and the girl serving had no sense of urgency!! I have stayed in many premier inns and this was one of the worst for service.
