As ever Premier Inn at Admiral Park comes up trumps. This is my second stay there and the amenities are just great. Best nights’ sleep in those cosy duvets and pillows. Breakfast is just so good except that I missed the chef who was there last year and who made very good poached eggs. Half an hour into the main part of town, if you like walking, or buses right outside the hotel. A large Waitrose across the road and a smaller Morrisons a minute away. Can’t think what else one would need.

What a lovely hotel. The staff are very helpful (Ivan even managed to book a taxi for us when we could not get through ourselves) The food is of a very good standard and the bar is reasonably priced (some of the locals actually come for a drink here as it is cheaper than some of the surrounding pubs) Rooms are of the usual Premier Inn high standard with the mattress to die for, I always sleep well at Premier Inns Highly recommend giving it a look of you are staying in Guernsey

Some issue with meal allowance but sorted after a while. Staff really helpful and made the visit really pleasant which was nice after lots of days in work. Nice easy stroll to St Peter Port or St Sampson and good base for a run along the sea front

Staff seem to be a problem here. On arrival at 1550 I tried to check in at the machines but was unable to and it displayed a message asking me to see a member of staff. There were no staff around so I pressed the buzzer and after a couple of minutes a member of staff appeared from the office ( seemed quite put out that I had pressed the buzzer ). He asked why I hadn't checked in at the machine and I explained and his response was " The room must be dirty ". There is a way of advising the room is not ready... and that was not it. It just seemed that assisting me to get checked in was a huge effort. A young girl went and checked the room and it turned out it was ready after all. When we got to the room it was spotlessly clean. No problems at all. We encountered issues with our key cards. Everytime we left the hotel we had to get our key cards reset as they would not work. This was not just us that encountered this, multiple other guests had this problem. On day 3/5 of our stay the manager was on reception and explained the correct way the cards had to be done to work and then we had no further issues. So the other staff clearly lack training. We ate one night in the restaurant downstairs, and it was a shambles. So many things on the menu not available. Orders taken incorrectly, we were also charged incorrectly ( this was refunded when we checked out, though ). Staff just seemed to have no hospitality, lacked training and one certain male member of staff had a terrible manner and was quite rude even telling me he had to get the other member of staff because " she has messed up your receipt ". We would stay at this hotel again because it was reasonably priced, clean and the rooms were comfortable. However, we would definitely not be eating in the restaurant, and we would hope the staff have had some training and improved their attitudes.

Apart from a rather grumpy check in manager, we had a wonderful stay and found the hotel conveniently located for exploring the island and St Peter's Port. Two staff Ivan and Jack were outstanding in their caring attitude to my husband who had suffered a serious fall while on the island. They're the kind of staff a hotel needs to set them above the rest.

Simply not enough staff. Well over an hour for a simple curry to arrive. Staff doing their best, but HQ need to hire more urgently. Useful for the office workers but not near St Peter Port or the rest of the tourist sites. ¡!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This hotel is in a great location and is very modern. The bay is literally at the end of the road and it is a short drive into town. The staff are very friendly and helpful , especially Ivan. I would definitely use this hotel again when visiting the island.
