Coconut Inn Pass-a-Grille Beach

My wife, myself and our Havapoo (Finley) puppy spent two wonderful night at this cozy, quaint inn. As others have mentioned, the area took a huge hit during the last two hurricanes. The St. Pete Beach community are very proud people and are working extremely hard to bring this beautiful ‘old Florida’ town back to its original glory. Our room at the Coconut Inn was the King Studio (room 7) located on the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean and well appointed and included everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was older and small but it worked for us. Maggie and Team were super fast at answering our inquiries and provided paramount service during our visit. We had a terrace with two lounge chairs and a small bistro table and chairs. As advertised, the inn provided brand new beach items (chairs, cart, umbrellas, balls, and fishing gear and bikes). We brought our own but certainly would have appreciated using these items if we didn’t. The beautiful beach was truly only a few steps away. So handy! There was construction going on the first day we were there so we avoided going to the pool that day. The second day was quiet (no construction) so we spend an enjoyable afternoon at the pool. One of the highlights for us staying at the Coconut Inn was meeting and chatting with the other wonderful guests during our short stay. Finley made some good friends and managed to score some treats (bacon) from our neighbours. LOL. Overall we had a great (short) time at this charming inn and wouldn’t hesitate to come back for another visit.

This is the best place we have ever stayed. It is absolutely perfect, it truly feels like home and I wish this was the standard all hotels strived to be like. Here are the main positives: - literally a 1 min walk to the beach - parking!!!! - free beach chairs/umbrellas/coolers to use - a spot to sit outside and have a snack and drinks - a pool that you really seem to get to yourself most days - clean!!!!! - friendliest staff (plus a cat!) - water pressure in the shower is outstanding - towels are big and plush - AC does its job and then some - full sized fridge and freezer plus little kitchen area to use - comfy bed and pillows and blankie - bright rooms with lots of windows Here are things I think could be improved IF I REALLY REALLY GOT NIT PICKY: - wine glasses in the room are plastic - pool is super warm (the sun really heats that bad boy up) - toilet paper quality Thank you for the best stay. We truly can't wait to come back and can't recommend this place enough. ＜3

Great place just off the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. The inn is close to several bars and restaurants. Nice rooms with a furnished kitchen, a patio or balcony, a pool, and a courtyard with an outdoor kitchen. If you go be sure to say "Hi" to Baxter.

This little gem was just what my wife and I was looking for, we needed a room for one night because we just got off a cruise ship and our flight did not leave until the next day, I searched the week before and was able to book room number 9 for one night, Maggie was so nice and gracious. I will mentioned also the this town as the Tampa and Clearwater area suffered back to back hurricanes and the whole community suffered greatly. I was shocked that we would even be able to get a place at all. We definitely want to return in the future

An adorable inn, a couple homes away from the public beach, restaurants and bars. We love Baxter (house cat :)! Staff were SUPER friendly and the accommodations were great, clean and tidy. Cozy Inn for sure! We will be back- great find for us!!!

My wife and I discovered this place as we were looking for a little staycation for the weekend. We absolutely loved every minute of our time at this clean, quaint, and charming inn. This place was exactly what we were looking for, super friendly staff, steps to the beach, short walking distance to restaurants/shoppes. We WILL return again for sure. Lastly we want to thank Jeffrey and Lisa for the wonderful hospitality !!
