This is not up to relais and chateaux standards - we have stayed at many before and this is nothing like the others - far more basic with a small room, limited facilities in the room (very little space for clothes, sparse bathroom etc) and very limited facilities in the "hotel". It is essentially a restaurant with rooms or a bed and breakfast and should be advertised as such rather than as a hotel. It is very expensive for what it is - more than other very luxurious properties within your brand. And it was annoying to be asked at check out to pay more for staff. I've never seen that before and I hope I never do again.

This is a charming property with an excellent restaurant; the food and wine pairing offered was exceptionally fine. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the hotel serves as an excellent base for exploring the lovely basque region.

Organisation anticipée Accueil chaleureux et personnalisé Chambre confortable, bien équipée, déco très sympa Nous avons bien entendu savouré aussi les délices de la table de l’Auberge … assiette parfaite , saveurs étonnantes et toujours justes, choix de produits locaux et authentiques … explications très intéressantes … bravo et merci à l’équipe en cuisine et au service ! Merci à Cédric et Marion BÉCHADE pour leurs convictions et leur accueil … À très vite !

Un beau week-end en famille. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la vue et de la campagne environnante en raison de la tempête mais on se sentait bien dans cette auberge. La décoration sobre et élégante (superbes photos n&b !), le personnel attentif, sympathique et professionnel, la cuisine raffinée et inventive du chef, tout cela a concouru à la réussite de ce séjour familial.

Petit déjeuner un peu décevant (faux buffet). Tout le reste est vraiment très bien. Pas de cohérence entre les questions très détaillées posées pour préparer le dîner et le petit-déjeuner et leur prise en compte au moment du service...
