Village Vacances Nature Montagne - les Balcons du Mont-Blanc

We came for one night between two changes of accommodation. We were very happy to find a hotel, because following COVID, many hotels were unfortunately closed in the region and some remaining were already full. Here are the positive and negative points for us: The reception: + Very smiling staff with good advice (we were recommended a great restaurant, thank you again) - we didn't have one (nice welcome) The room: + Spacious and with storage space, there were two of us but we had a room for six. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is a little basic, but does the job. - aging room, a change of lighting to LED for example would not be too much because the neon lights were really too strong for the evening. The TV in our room didn't work, we restarted a configuration but the channels crackled too much (well, we're in the mountains that happens and we're not there to watch TV), the rooms lack a socket and despite my small size, I managed to hit my head on the shelf above the bed, not serious but it wakes you up. Breakfast: + classic buffet (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cereals, bread, eggs, yogurt, etc.) We expected this, even if the health context is particular we would have liked more diversity, in the yogurts For example. The restaurant room has a beautiful view and even if the decor still lacks a little freshness, the Savoyard spirit is there. - as said above, we would have liked a more diverse breakfast choice. Small problem that we encountered, two dirty cutlery, so yes it happens we put them on the side and chose other clean ones, but it would be important to check carefully after washing especially with the health context. Overall we had a good night. This establishment must surely welcome more children's colonies than individuals. I think the hotel must be great in winter, with the butt lift at the foot of the hotel parking lot, but for the summer I won't come for more than one night. Of course the price is very reasonable in summer (we do not know the prices in winter). I hope that my feelings will help other travelers, my criticism is constructive and is not there to penalize anyone.

Des chambres non désaffectée, idem pour le restaurant et salon Repas très correct Literie d'une epoque certaine matelas complètement écrasés Un très petit nettoyage et uniquement la sdb de 2 M2 une x par semaine Le plus terrible le covid était présent dans l'hôtel ( le responsable était malade ) nous étions 40 personnes adultes et 12 d'entre nous sont positifs Plus jamais !!!

Dans le cadre dun stage de chant choral, c'est mon 4 ème séjour aux balcons. C'est un établissement très agréable, ne serait ce que par la vue magnifique sur le Mont Blanc, mais aussi par la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Philippe et de toute son équipe. Les chambres sont spacieuses, avec beaucoup de rangement. Petit bémol, salle de bain un peu petite, et manque de prises de courants. Enfin la restauration est très bonne et variée, équilibrée. Donc c'est globalement un très chouette établissement.
