La Villa Bois Joli Hotel Restaurant

Such a lovely classically French hotel and restaurant, with the pleasure to find the same cocktail Palace, quiet rooms and pleasant and nicely dressed tables, excellent food and a personal meeting with the Owners, all so fine!

A nice family hotel close to the town centre in this wonderful resort. The room was a bit cramped and dated but everything was spotless and clean. Service from the staff was attentive and good. WiFi and internet was very poor in the room but much better downstairs in the main lounge. Breakfasts were good and we had dinner one night which was also excellent. Good car parking as well.

This was our first visit to Hotel Bois Joli, and indeed the town, staying here overnight before catching the ferry the next day. The town itself, which is very attractive, developed as a spa town in the late 19th century, and the hotel building must have been one of those built at the time to accommodate the increasing number of tourists. The hotel looks put over a park in the town, and there is ample off road parking in the grounds / garden. We received a very warm welcome, and our room was very clean and comfortable, although some of the communal areas, notably the stairs and landing, looked a little tired. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the hotel, and breakfast the next morning was probably one of the best, if not the best, we have had in France. We shall definitely use this hotel again when returning home from France.

This is a beautiful building in a beautiful town. There were seven of us having a meal and the staff were amazing and very attentive. The food and wine was exceptional. I would definitely go there again.
