Inn at Woodhaven-in the Heart of the Bourbon Trail-over 12 Distilleries Nearby

We've stayed at B&Bs throughout the US and Italy, and the Inn at Woodhaven now sets the bar. Reservations were lightning quick and easy. Upon arrival, Jeremy met us at the door, explained the B&B layout and 175-year history, then showed us our room - The Garden Room Suite. The door opens to a lavender walled bedroom with 4-post bed. Windows have original shutters and glass, and the woodwork is stunning. All furnishings are period correct. The bedroom connects to a huge parlor area, with sauna, and adjoining bathroom. Hot water and lots of it! And large enough bathroom where you're not feeling compressed. Parking is on-site, and each guest is assigned a spot. My Audi felt very safe there :) I'm not sure you can be rewarded a Michelin Star for biscuits and sausage gravy or chocolate chip pancakes, but if so, they've earned it! Absolutely incredible breakfast, supplied with menu choices or more al a carte. Either way ... YUMMY!!! The Inn is about 8-miles outside of Louisville, which makes your stay a bit quieter and more suburban feeling. In a nutshell, great B&B, great location, great food, and great Innkeepers. This is best Bed and Breakfast that you’ll ever stay in. Mark and Jeremy have every detail perfect. From the extremely comfortable beds to the gourmet breakfast. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for everyone. They definitely make you feel at home.

My husband and I loved our stay at the Inn. Our hosts were generous and hospitable, asking about our itinerary and generously providing a discount card for one of Louisville's best restaurants. The room was quiet and elegant, with a comfortable sitting area and deck. The foliage was lovely: this northerner even got her first look at a crape myrtle tree! Perhaps the best feature was the absolutely perfect breakfast. The items -- eggs, pastry, meat -- were not unusual, but they were prepared carefully and with flair. We hope to be back!

Beautiful B &B. Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Jeremy and Mark are wonderful hosts! Very accommodating. Great food. Varied selections for breakfast options. Large selection of bourbons for the tasting. Will definitely book again if in the area.

Had a wonderful weekend getaway with my wife at Inn at Woodhaven in Louisville. The home was beautiful and beautifully decorated. The accommodations and hospitality were truly unmatched. Every detail made our stay special. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

Excellent place to stay. Amazing home that has been renovated as a Bed and Breakfast with great attention to detail. Hosts were very personable and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Lots of small amenities to make this place special. Convenient to interstate but in a lovely neighborhood.
