Great location and hospitality would definitely recommend! Ski shop is located within the hotel and 15 yards from the slope into Val Thorens, perfect for ski in and ski out. Breakfast also had a wide variety of options of food and drink. Would visit again

Comfortable and modern rooms and facilities. Great menu with a range of food options you will not get bored with. Pulpo was stand out dish for me. The simplicity and convience of ski in and out is a joy. Ski rental in hotel makes the experience seamless and time efficient. Apres ski - excellent - great DJ sound stage and ambiance. The staff are attentive and supportive.

Located on the slopes above the Cascades chair lift, nice ski in,ski out hotel.Ski shop in the hotel, cost for skis, boots and helmet about £85 for 4 days. Ski lockers available in ski room. Good breakfast, cooked or normal continental, plenty of variety for a week of skiing, with good service from the staff who bring you coffee etc. Restaurant had pizzas for about 23 euro’s and were normal hotel prices for location. Plenty of fast food and restaurant alternatives in walking distance. Stayed in twin room, reasonable size; shower, bath, clean and tidy, possibly a few more coat hangers needed. Hotel does host a lively Apres Ski, which started at 1.30pm and finished at 7pm, so no issues, albeit loud. As for skiing, huge number of runs and plenty of snow at high levels, to be fair a great variety for all levels. 3 valleys ski pass for 4 days was £282 , about £10 a day less for just Val Thorens. No complaints.

This is a review of Fahrenheit Seven restaurant in Val Thorens, as we stopped here for lunch when skiing in the Three Valleys. If you want a pleasant lunch, avoid! The waiting staff are bad and all stand by the automatic door so that it is constantly opening and closing and very cold inside for people trying to eat and using power- so bad for planet too. Food was also dreadful. As usual, we had a query from a waitress with an expectation that all good- "Everything good?". So, I said no it isn't good and explained about the cold temperature in the room- I was shivering and the continually opened door. They then pout a heater on in the restaurant above the door. Other people eating thanked me for that. Loos ARE DIRTY TOO.

Wonderful staff: no exceptions! Wonderful vibe. Wonderful rooms. Breakfast perfect, bar chilled, restaurant great. Perfect position in the best ski resort in the world. Pretty hard to top that. Can’t recommend F7 and VT highly enough. We’ve finished our world ski odyssey: this is the place we’ll keep coming back to.

PROS : Very friendly staff, good location to access slopes, spacious, on-site ski hire and boot room, terrace bar pleasant . Lovely views across resort. Excellent pre holiday communication from hotel. CONS: rooms are fairly run down and noise from other rooms disruptive. The hotel had several large groups , mostly male , in Val Thorens to ski hard, party hard it would seem. There was music pumping from rooms at 3am. Perhaps avoid if you like a more refined and relaxing ski experience with your family. I am sure lots of people love the party/music concept but not for us.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and chose it based on the great reviews, that it’s a 4-star design hotel, ski in/ski-out location and the great vibe that it appeared to have from the website. Unfortunately, we were disappointed: - The hotel was likely trendy at one point, but it’s worn and needs a new coat of paint and to become updated again. Examples include plenty of marks on walls in room and around elevators, loose led lighting in the room, hangers falling off in the bathroom. Design also feels dated. - The room has virtually no ventilation (e.g. poor air quality and plenty of moist on the windows in the mornings) - Cleaning is a big problem! We frequently came back from skiing around 16:00 only to find that our room had not been cleaned. We addressed this with the reception several times, but it was not improved. We also had to ask for bathroom products to be replenished several times. Quality of cleaning was poor, e.g. hairs left in bath tub. Piles of laundry were often left in the hallways. - Ski room appears on the website to be very fancy with a bar (”Le ski bar”) Reality is that is smells (carpet is constantly moist) and the bar was closed all week. - There was only after-ski in one of the afternoons, despite weather being good. Breakfast staff and selection was good. Good with the shuttle service that the hotel provides. Overall, we expected a lot more from a 4-star hotel, especially after also paying a high price for the stay.

This is our second visit. The first was before Covid . The location is excellent in terms of access to the ski slopes but a little far from the city center. Not only has there been no improvements but the quality has declined. This is not a four star hotel more like three stars. Breakfast is included but the quality is poor and always the same. There were days that no eggs were available as well as selection of fresh fruit juices turned into fruit drinks. The vegetables mainly lettuce was not fresh . There were no eggs prepared individually by request and the scrambled eggs were made from a mix not real eggs . The pancakes were cold and not freshly prepared. In past each day had a type of egg. One day omelette another day poached eggs a third fresh toast and another day pancake. Normally had a variety of pastries but on one day there none no croissants to be had. They no longer make cappuccino but expression coffee with hot milk from a speared machine that heats the milk but it is not steamed even though they have a wonderful coffee machine with a steamer. When I asked the breakfast manager why the coffee is not cappuccino I was told we can’t do it anymore . The room needs a redo . The bathrooms in the rooms and main floor have no ventilation and there is a constantly a bad smell . Lastly the shuttle service is a real necessity because of its location and is not available all thru the day. Other hotels have 8am -11 pm service. Lately there is no whatsapp number so guests without ability to call the hotel can’t order the shuttle.. The issues are simple to resolve with improved management
