This hotel literally stole money from us. After a few days stay we left the apar**ent exceptionally clean, we did the dishes and returned everything to place. We left a trash bag next to the door for the house cleaning staff. Apparently when you checkin you sign a document saying you have to take the trash out, which is outside the hotel physically. They took the money from our deposit and after we apologized on the phone and email, they were very cruel on their responses and stopped answering our emails and calls. 250 euro for a clean apar**ent and one trash bag. This is a 4 star hotel?? Crazy. And the ski out location is terrible for beginners, they need to walk 20 minutes with the skis to the nearest beginner lift. If this is your first time stay away.

Hotel look nice on pictures but is not nice when you are there. The temperature of the shower varies a lot. the floor drains in the bathing area flooded daily. The room cleaning is really low quality and their bathrobes are only available in size M. Location on this hotel is very good!

Bad service, horrible staff… After I left the room I was staying in, the staff sent an email claiming that a garbage bag was left in the kitchen and gave me a 250€ fine!! Stay away from this place… better pay an extra € somewhere else, rather than paying it to them for no reason!

The hotel service was really, really terrible. They didn't specify and explain that we needed to dispose the trash in the room, and after talking to them, we didn't receive a response. The conversation was rude and not suitable for a respected hotel/Residency. We left the room clean, no dirty dishes or a mess. And they fin us about the trash. I won't be returning to this hotel, and I don't recommend it to you either. Also, if you are beginner the ski in/out not relevant to you, unless you are walking with your skis on.

This was not our first stay, but this time it was like a 2 or 3 star Fawlty Towers experience - the hotel itself is okay (though the rooms are a bit dated and could do with a refresh) but they need to invest in their staff. There was a midnight smoke alert that woke everyone, a fault with the spa so sauna/hot tub and pool were all cold, and no explanation from management, despite dozens of unhelpful emails from Montagnettes before the holiday. Having stayed at another 4 star hotel in VT the week before, the contrast was a bit shocking. Not sure we'll be going back anytime soon.

Great hotel, awesome location. Literally on the slope enabling you to easily access all the VT ski lifts, but also quiet to sleep in the evenings. Balconies overlook slope. Great ski lockers. We had 2 bed apar**ent- and bread/ croissants delivered daily. Issues - hardest mattresses ever ! Asked for mattress topper - not available. Room keeping kindly put on extra duvets underneath but still not good enough for the standard of hotel. Bar also disappointing - corridor lit by spotlights… felt like sitting in a hotel reception.

Excellent apar**ent within this hotel complex. The best view overlooking the slopes including a balcony. Spacious sitting/dining/kitchen area. Well appointed kitchen. Master bedroom could have been a tad bigger (the double doors almost hit the bed) and the twin room was the one with the en-suite not the main bedroom which had to use the main bathroom. Small point. Lots of hanging space for ski gear in the foyer section. Boot room a bit small and cramped but straight out onto the slopes for perfect ski in/ski out. Nice spa and pool too. Would definitely recommend and would book here again.

Three of us booked a one-week trip via Crystal Ski (TUI). We arrived at the hotel 3 hours late due to a technical flight with our plane and were greeted with a 3-course meal in containers, saved for us from dinner. The warm welcome and friendly staff really cheered us up after what was a very long journey. The facilities are fantastic, our room was spacious and lovely and warm. We opted for the half-board option and cannot fault the food, it was incredibly every meal, one day we had oysters for starters. The spa is lovely with a hot tub for 8 people, multiple saunas and a pool. There are also amazing facilities for your ski equipment including heated dry cupboards that are locked using your room key, you can walk out of the changing room onto the slope. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Val Thorens and I will absolutely come back.

Le Hameau du Kashmir is a very nice hotel. Hansley and Manon in the restaurant area provided really good service. They always had a beautiful smile on their faces, they were very polite, helpful and caring for the customers. We would definitely come again.
