We checked in yesterday and the room wasn't ready until 2 hours after check in. It is a rat hole that was not cleaned on the terrace, where down in the basement there is no sun at any time, even though we were the very first in line. They don't speak English at the reception, but just sit and are angry and arrogant. The reception girl is very angry and unfriendly, and obviously doesn't like non-French people. Despite there being many available rooms, and we paid in good time and some we have spoken to got something much better when booking the day before and no one had any wishes, we have had the worst. We sense that they are actually happy that the French are getting the good stuff, and we have to thank them for the worst location in the whole complex. There is no management or anyone to make decisions. We also deliberately chose a complex with a pool, but their lame excuse for it not being open is because it has been windy and a few leaves have gotten in, which can't be surprising when they are by the water. So if you are not French, you will be treated badly, as we, as the only ones out of 120 who checked in yesterday, got the worst, and all the information, etc., is in French. It actually constitutes discrimination under EU law.
