It's a great place to stay, good welcome, however the spa is a horrible experience, the massage is bad, and it takes 10 minutes to apparently get dressed, crowded with people.

We have travelled through the Atlantic coast of Spain and France. We have eaten at Michelin star restaurants. This has to be one of the best meals at the LE CAP HORN restaurant. Excellent staff and excellent food! A true delight!! We skipped the starter, the mains were Beef and Cod, both exquisite, the desert of the Apple Tart and Chou tout chocolat was simply devine!! Our waiter Gaspard has perfected English dead pan, and that’s saying something for a French man! An excellent evening!!

Stunning building, right on the beach. We had booked a sea view and it was worth the extra. Professional staff, elegant dining room and a gorgeous bedroom. Breakfast was a colourful spread, with hot and cold dishes available. Liked everything about this hotel, a most enjoyable stay. Recommend a stay here.

An average property and located a fair distance from the historic center.... Every one was trying to upsell everything in the hotel.... We were disappointed that they didn't give us an ocean side room and when we inquired about this they told us they had oceanside rooms available but there would be an upcharge.... This left a very bad taste in our mouths and we will not return here.

This is just a lovely, lovely hotel, full of charm and attention to detail. It's just my platonic ideal of a hotel really- beautifully situated on the seafront, delightful staff, everything thought through, from double doors so you don't get corridor noise, to opening windows, to a private spa lift so you don't have to cross the lobby dripping, to well-thought out lightswitches, valet parking and black out blinds... really couldn't fault it.

Very elegant hotel located on the beach. Beautiful views of the beach and sea. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Most spoke English, but some of the waitstaff didn't. Has spa within the hotel property that offers a variety of services. Breakfast offered a wide range of choices. Rooms were clean and quiet. Air conditioning and wireless worked great! The biggest downside is its distance from the town center. A good 30 minute walk down the boardwalk. But a lovely hotel with fabulous views of the channel.

Hotel is facing the ocean in a lovely location to allow you to walk to the town along the beach. The walk is wonderful with ocean view and lovely homes facing the ocean. The restaurant has large windows to see the sea - great! Staff is very pleasant and many amenities are available - like major spa actives (we did not do). Hotel rooms are very nice! A perfect spot to enjoy the sea and stroll in great surroundings

Business brought me to Saint-Malo but what a pleasure to come back after days of meetings to such a beautiful place. This was my first visit. The staff could not have been more hospitable and consistently provided service at the highest level. The Cap Horn restaurant was also spectacular with beautiful dishes and excellent service, perfect for hosting business dinners. I look forward to returning for pleasure and bringing my family. Thanks so much to the amazing team at Le Grand Hotel des Thermes!

too expensive for what it offers! it is not what it was. it is the 10th time i go. pervious time with family. we go there also for thalassotherapy. This time i asked for "rééducation". they charged extra about 300 euros although it was not an extra course. The level of treatment was amateurish and no more the 15'! the efficacity of the personnel was of being polite ! but not officiant. for the price I paid - in my judgment- i was 'stolen' ! there restaurants over evaluated.
