The original stone building might be different but the rooms we were in was in a pre-fab block in the car park. You can hear deliveries coming and going at 11pm and 6pm every day. If you keep the window closed for quietness, it's roasting inside. The beds are also too short and i'm only 187cm. If you want to park your car it's 15 euros per day (it's free on street parking so dont bother), if you want to hire bikes its 10 euros per day (they are absolutely terrible), if you want to iron your clothes (they dont have an iron)... The positives are that the location is great, it's right on the beach and has a lovely terrace you can sit in! However considering the price 130 euros a night minimum, it's not worth it. Go elsewhere

The hotel was tastefully decorated with a bright, modern nautical/industrial theme and the room was very clean and adequately appointed. Unusually, the room had a separate toilet and shower room. With the hotel being directly on the sea front, we were fortunate to have a room with a sea view and it was nice to be able to open the full height windows and listen to the waves. The old town was visible from the small balcony and could be reached with a 40-minute walk along the sea front. We found the staff to be polite and helpful. The hotel restaurant appeared to be popular, but there were few other options nearby. We ate in the restaurant on only one evening as, unfortunately, the food shared the distinction of being both the worst and most expensive meal of our holiday. Parking is available for guests, but there are only three spaces, plus one disabled space for a total of 22 rooms. Having arrived after a long drive across France, we then had to drive around the local streets for half an hour trying to find a parking space. The nearest was 700m from the hotel, which meant a tiring walk with suitcases on a very hot day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and, for a 3-star hotel, the accommodation is impressive, but this hotel may not be suitable for those with a car.

Shockingly poor service, was pretty windy and cold outside and on requesting that we could sit inside for a. drink the bar manager made it pretty clear he wasn’t happy with this, so faced with the choice of having a drink outside in the wind we declined and went for a drink elsewhere. Not great at 4.00pm in the afternoon when you check in after a long drive, won’t be staying there again or recommending it to anyone. Got the distinct impression English visitors were not welcome

I recently stayed at the Hotel Ar Iniz for 8 nights and I highly recommend it. It is a very charming hotel on the boardwalk in Saint-Malo. I had the only room with a terrace and I loved it. I was able to listen to the sound of the waves every night. The room was very comfortable. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant is amazing. It is close to the little town which has a bar, a Carrefour City, a bakery, a pharmacy, etc. It is about a 35 minute walk to the old city inside the walls. If I go back to Saint-Malo, I would definitely stay here again.

We came to spend 4 nights at the hotel as a couple. We slept in the part overlooking the parking lot. When we booked in February 2024 we were sent a questionnaire asking the reasons for our trip. We wrote “honeymoon” there. And despite that we were allocated the PMR room which was probably the least pretty (simple shower curtain, very dark bathroom and small window with an ineffective blind) fortunately after requesting the neighboring room was still available to exchange. We don't understand the point of this questionnaire if it's not to take it into account, plus we made the reservation 3 months ago!!!! The breakfasts are good without being exceptional; they could be more generous for €16 per person. During our breakfasts the waitresses are already setting up for lunch!!! This is not pleasant for customers. Daily cleaning during a long stay in the room is minimal because a cup of coffee left on the 1st day was not removed for the other 3 days. However, a positive point for the bedding and well-maintained rooms.

Perfect location. Very good breakfast and magnificent view. Except that the rooms are in the courtyard, an American motel type where you have the impression of sleeping in a parking lot. . The 19 is actually fitted out and the window on the parking lot lets the light through. Noisy when people walk past the door talking in the evening on their way home. But above all we missed a welcoming place such as a lounge or bar to peacefully end our evening with friends. The hotel bar is outdoors and is not open in the evening. All the closest bars (and there are very few in this area) close at 10 p.m., a nearby hotel was pointed out to us by the staff but the bar was outside and it was freezing cold and it was not not the closest. We were already tired of having walked home in the cold from the intramural restaurant. In short, the end of a long-planned evening with friends was a little wasted, we would have been better off staying at the hotel restaurant in the end. So we went to bed early! Next time we will go to the hotel right next door which has a real hall where we can stay and chat with friends, which does not have a sea view but we had parking so we had to choose....

hotel well located by the sea with beach, smiling and pleasant staff, very good breakfast. The only downside is room n19 which was for people with reduced mobility which is not the case for us. I hope I didn't take this room from PMR people wanting to book. last point in the evening we see the light of the city through the small window which is unpleasant for sleeping despite a blind which remains ineffective for the darkness information transmitted to reception.
