We booked this hotel via their partner Brittany Ferries seamlessly. Prior to the visit I double checked a few details such as parking and asked for help to get the perfect fine dining for the Bastille Day evening. The staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful and in particular we must say a big thank you to Jennifer in reception. The whole hotel is stylish not boutique or corporate but individual. Very well thought out design and facilities. The whole place from car park to public area toilets to reception and dining area and rooms were exceptional. My only lament is the same one n many establishments. *Single beds are for children and adults should have twin small doubles. * I’m sure I’m not alone in being happy to exchange less floor space for an adult sized bed ! The location is superb on the esplanade overlooking the sea, we didn’t use the pool but other folk did and it looked great. The food was really great for breakfast and decor very relaxing, modern and comfortable. Will definitely visit again.

For an expensive hotel, it leaves a lot to be desired. There was hardly any closet, so a rolling rack was brought in. The phone was inside the same cabinet as the fridge! A large window with a see-through curtain was in the bathroom and faced the living room area. The shower had such a slick floor that we had to lay down towels so we would not fall. Why was a rubber mat not provided? We did enjoy the nearness to town and the beautiful view of the ocean. Of course, some of these things are structural and can not be changed, but others are just poor management.

Location was great, just outside of old town. Either ocean or harbour views. Only downside was the diesel generators running right outside of the hotel causing an unpleasant odour. Room was good side although too much furniture made it feel more crowded than necessary.

This hotel is located by the sea, but our room faced the building across the street and had no view. The room was comfortable. Breakfasts were adequate. It took us about 5 minutes of walking along the beachfront to the walled city. It was convenient and quite pleasant.

We stayed for 6 nights and found the location a short walk from the walled city. The staff were very welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. The room was a decent size with balcony overlooking the beach. Unfortunately there was nowhere apart from a small rail with a couple of hangers to put our clothes. We were b and b but the breakfast is an absolute shambles. Food runs out within minutes and takes ages to replenish. Seems to cooked elswhere. Vending machines for hot drinks, rubbish and lazy. Make guests a real cup of coffee in a morning.

An overnight stay. Pool was unavailable and we didn’t use the spa but all facilities that we did use were very good. The staff were all polite, helpful and welcoming.
