Bedroom door wouldn’t shut in B&B, paint peeling off ceiling, en-suite shower not working, no bacon for breakfast. Outside fire escape door (which is entrance to residents flat) open all night - not great with non shutting bedroom door. Plus see latest Food Hygiene Rating.

Discovered this wonderful place during a drive down the coast. We sat outside on a stunningly hot day with a beautiful view. Upon ordering I found the staff lovely to get on with and the fish and chips didn't take long to appear, which were fabulous! A pint of Tribute washed it down perfectly !!!

We are staying at Sea Acres Holiday Park and there are 8 of us in our group, we decided to go to The Paris for a Sunday carvery and were not disappointed, apart from the beautiful sea views, the selection of food was amazing it was all freshly cooked and piping hot, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend The Paris Hotel, thank you for a wonderful visit.

We didn’t eat here so can’t speak for the food. We stopped by a couple of times while camping nearby for a drink in the garden- nice view of the sea, decent beer but miserable service from the woman behind the bar. Coverack is missing a trick as regards decent places to eat - see my review of the Lifeboat Station

Terrible approach to gluten free dining. Despite having a dedicated gf menu, my son was served non gf bread. The waiting staff did not seem to grasp the importance of this. The waiter did come back but it was too late. We can’t understand how such a basic mistake happened. Be very careful at this pub if you have allergies.

Bar man could have been more welcoming which was what was needed on the grey and wet day we took refuge. The free pool table was a winner though. We only had drinks and snacks which were nice. I think it would be a nice place in the sunshine as you could sit outside and enjoy the view.

We popped in for some food and a few drinks. Nothing wrong with the food or the building but the lad behind the bar had no people skills, not once did he say please or thank you and most of the time he was sat at the end of the bar on his phone. Didn’t ask us how our food was. Also neglected to tell us that we can get a refund on the car park. I mentioned about a refund and all I got back was yeah. He was working with a young lady with red hair, she didn’t serve us so unable to comment but she seemed nice enough. I was polite on my trips to the bar and he gave me no interaction at all. He seemed slightly friendlier to the locals. I may not be a local to the Paris but I am Cornish and live 10 miles away so I dread to think how unfriendly he is to holiday makers. We own a local business and if our staff were as off putting as that then I would be extremely upset. Sadly we wouldn’t return. I wanted to give a one star but it wouldn’t have been fair on the business. Eating out is also the experience not just the food.
