Bike trip Cute. Small. Kitchen well-equipped, including Keureg with some pods provided for coffee & tea, sweetener & powdered cream (morning coffee info is important to me!). Near Empire State Trail, which was perfect because I was biking in and out from the trail. Host very accessible. Location appears rural, but there are active train tracks very nearby, so it can get noisy, but it settles a bit at night. I was confused because in the listing it says sleeps 4, and in the photos the upstairs beds looked like twin size beds & the love seat appears to be in a different room than the full sized bed, so I thought there would be a bedroom downstairs, but there is not: upstairs beds are both full size. I did not check to see if love seat converts to a bed. Made no difference to me since I was traveling solo. I would stay here again solo. Would stay with one other person if I really loved them (it's small!).

The cabin is adorable and clean! Quiet, well kept area. The owner was friendly and reached out to us prior to our stay. We are going to come back again and have recommended Little Moose to our friends and family. Wonderful experience!

Little Moose Lodge Every provision you could think of is provided. The owner is very responsive to whatever you need. This is our third time staying in the different lodging available and is now our go to place when up that way. It’s quiet and peaceful even with the lull of the occasional train in the background passing. Just a nice relaxing place to just “be”. Love coming here!

Maine to Michigan stopover - Day 1 Awesome place! Loved the concept of a little log cabin with restored RR cabooses together in a park along the river. Great use of reclaimed materials in the floors, shower, and other places. Hosts recommended a wonderful family owned Italian restaurant just down the road for dinner. Best bread for sandwich roles I've ever tasted! To bad I won't be back this way again, but if I were, I'd definitely stay there again!
