This was our group of 4 couples’ stop in France. The Domaine is in an amazing beautiful setting, it absolutely beautiful architecturally and has such a nice staff. The food is great but service in the restaurant is a bit slow and lacking. Our group had such a wonderful time from lounging to biking the French Countryside.

Stunning location, friendly staff at checkin. Well equipped room. We enjoyed the dinners, however there was not a large menu, no vegetarian options. The fish of the day was three days in a row, the same, that kills the perception of a special and fresh option. The portions are large, for refining it could be some smaller. The winelist is as large as the Bible, both new and old test. :-). There was not any explanation from a sommelier or anybody else regarding the list or the chosen wines. The service seemed a bit messy and inconsistent, but overal verry friendly. Loved staying here and highly recommended !!

Lovely hotel in the middle of nowhere with beautiful accommodation and great staff. We were upgraded to a large suite with private jacuzzi - even the toilet seat opened itself for you! Very large bathroom which had a tendency to mist up very quickly (not good if you’re putting your makeup on). Room was a little dark but facilities beautiful. The food in the restaurant was delicious both nights - couldn’t fault it. We had to preorder breakfast which was a bit of a pain as you don’t know what you want the night before - but it was nevertheless very good.

Recent three night stay in ground floor suite, separate building from reception/restaurant etc. Suite ok though a bit quirky (hessian flooring?) Bar and restaurant welcoming and food generally ok. Except breakfast. They request you put order in previous evening, but makes no difference. Second morning waited 25 minutes just for that first cup of coffee. We did not say anything as just wanted to see how long they would take. Croissants were a good 10 minutes later. Overall not a bad stay but the location is so remote that in-house dining is pretty mandatory, so patience is essential.

The hotel is beautiful. We stayed two nights, we ate in the restaurant one night. The food was good, but not great - over cooked fish and we felt our asparagus starter was over complicated. The cheese was amazing and we had some lovely wines. The breakfast service was appalling. We asked for more coffee and some chocolate spread and then sat and watched the waitress we had asked helping a delivery driver unload a lorry before she finally bought the chocolate sauce. We had in the meantime asked another waitress. Just as well as the first one didn’t come back for at least 20 minutes. Then she said ‘I forgot’. You have to fill out a form for your breakfast the night before, including the time you want it. I don’t think this is acceptable in an hotel of this calibre. Also I do t understand why the delivery drivers are not told to deliver to the back of the building.

This was our second time to stay, and there is no doubt, this is a beautiful place to stay at when visiting Burgundy, and we will probably be back when we go that way again. Rooms are very well appointed, the bedding luxurious and the food is really good. The location is rural, but pretty spectacular, and while there are no "views" in a traditional sense as the property is located low in a dip, the immaculate landscaping, ponds and being surrounded by meadows with horses, cows and ducks give it a great sense of serenity. We stayed in one of the newer lovely suites and really liked the room. My quibbles are not major, but at a Relais & Chateaux charging over Euro 1000 per night for some of its rooms, it is all about the details: 1. the in-house restaurant serves top quality food, but at eye-watering prices. If I am paying top prices, I would expect the wait staff to be dressed in uniforms, and be very polished. Instead, the staff was very "junior", and dressed quite casually. 2. We had 6 glasses of wine amongst us from a limited list of wine-by-the-glass with prices between Euro 16-24 per glass of 2022 vintages, and the pour was the smallest I have ever had. I asked the sommelier to be a bit more generous with his pour, and he became all huffy saying that the pour was 200ml. No way was his pour almost 1/3 of a bottle - more like 3 sips. 3. The room information sheets about contacting the front desk and connecting to the internet were obsolete. The network and password were non existent, and the room phone being referred to, could not be located. 3. The fancy electronic toilet needs a simple instruction sheet. I am pretty good technically, but could not figure out how to use all the nifty features. Perhaps management could look at these small things, fix them and make Domaine de Rymska even better?

We visited this fabulous hotel at the start of our French holiday touring around. We wanted a base in the Burgundy region. Whilst about 30 mins drive from Beaune it was a beautiful base. The hotel is quite small (although they are building 4 additional rooms). We stayed in. Junior suite which was enormous and very comfortable. Huge bathroom (although ours didn’t have a working fan so got very steamy from the shower). The setting is beautiful with a lovely pool. An excellent restaurant where meals were served - together with terraces. There were a lot of wasps which drove us inside one morning and were an annoyance but to be expected. Our one frustration was a lovely but very small menu for dinner and no separate lunch or snack menu - however they were able to rustle up a lovely salad and some ham and cheeses for us. it would be nice have this written down perhaps for residents. The restaurant was popular with people from the area which was lovely to see especially post pandemic ! It was a lovely start to our trip and would definitely return if we came back to Burgundy

This is the most wonderful hotel - a truly beautiful setting, the most luxurious rooms and bathrooms, delicious food, attentive staff. Such a friendly and calm atmosphere. I can’t think of a single negative comment. They even love dogs! Swimming pool, walks in the countryside, boules, fully stocked bar, fantastic wine list, the list goes on.

the RYMSKA estate is an extraordinary bucolic place. The reception and the majority of the staff are very professional and very pleasant with the exception of the two Sommelieres and sommeliers. The first one is very ungracious and has obviously not gone to hotel school to forget the good etiquettes of serving women first and with a smile. ....as for the second although with good eonological knowledge we had quite simply forgotten to do our job by chatting here and there for a good half hour with certain customers while our dishes arrived and we were obliged to ask the waitress to do the service in his place....inexcusable.....fortunately we were delighted by the quality of the cuisine offered and the originality of the presentation of these...a big hat to the chef but also to the Energetic and very friendly dorector of this establishment which now deserves stars.....
