Basic hotel but reasonable value. Functional room & bathroom with walk in shower. Quite small rooms with pleasant view at the back. Breakfast ok - usual parties with some ham & cheese. Service good - all staff friendly & helpful. Note that restaurant is excellent - separate review

During our week in the Loire Valley one of our dear friends booked in to lunch at this restaurant in Thouars. I cannot fault it. The service was unobtrusive but excellent. The food very good and our wine nicely chilled. It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend it.

Hotel near the road but very quiet; we had a very pleasant welcome; the rooms are renovated; breakfast in a room other than the restaurant is copious; the very friendly, attentive staff; tempting menus which meant that there were people there at lunchtime and in the evening.
