St Helens Coastal Resort

The caravan was excellent, it was clean and spacious and the hottub was lovely. Pete the hottub man came everyday around 9 and was lovely, he even cleaned our veranda a couple of times a day due to tree debris falling on to it. The site itself was clean, very well maintained . The site is a very quiet site and was the 1st site we have been too without entertainment (although that was our choice) . The Vine Pub served lovely food but would need to be booked in advance. From what we could see the bus timetable was great. We used their sister site (10 min drive) twice for the entertainment which was great (during half term). We walked miles with our 4 and 6 year old girls, they loved the adventure, check out the fairy tree, it was magical. We would come back although for our aged children there wasn't much to do. The Old Village Inn in Bambridge was fantastic 👌

For £360 with a ‘luxury’ label you expect just that right? Luxury… Well that couldn’t have been further from the truth, to start positively I had a lovely greeting by the lady in the main reception, unfortunately the positivity stops there. Originally booking with a hot tub to then be told there wasn’t any available, however there were several lodges all weekend with hot tubs unoccupied. The lodge to look at ok the surface is nice, bright, updated tv with Netflix and other streaming services, large space with a small decking area, all cushions were covered in bird poo, as was the decking area. The radiator in the living room was filled with rust and had a bowl placed under it with a manky cloth and dirty water (to catch what’s obviously an unfixed leak). The bedroom was absolutely filthy with hair in the sheets, bugs and hair in the carpet floor and stains on the netting, all surfaces covered in apparent stains that have been left to accumulate over time. The bathroom shower was full of dirt, hair, bugs, and other debris. The floors and corners of all rooms were full of dirt, hair, and again dead bugs. The gas oven wouldn’t stay on, the gas just kept going off every 5 minutes, sausages, bacon and hash browns took over an hour to cook and the hash browns still weren’t cooking properly, I’m very disappointed in the stay we’ve experienced here and I can safely say I will not be back.

Another great holiday at St Helens, Away Resorts. Van was lovely ,clean and hot tub an added bonus. Was great for the dogs as had enclosed decking around van. The site was quiet, tidy and well located for beaches and other walks. All staff were very friendly and helpful and Nikki gave a warm amd friendly welcome. Can't wait to go back .

Excellent park and very quiet. All staff exceptional and go out of their way to help with any situation. We stay here twice a year and always enjoy our stay. Easy access to all areas of the island and the dogs love their walks each day at Duver. Nikki on reception is always friendly and helpful.

booked a lodge with a hot tub and that's exactly what we got. hot tub outside area is great and the hot tub seemed clean and well maintained. the Lodge it self was OK. cleanliness was poor with old socks found behind one of the sofas alongside a vacuum attachment and cobwebs in almost every corner and a food splatter on the ceiling in the kitchen diner area. The Lodge was fitted with a good quality LG TV with Netflix and Prime built-in (logins required) alongside a nice digital fire. Kitchen was well equipped. shower temp was temperamental and hard to get right making it a hazard with kids as the temperature would fluctuate without moving the temperature gauge. One of the locks on the windows was also jammed meaning the window couldn't be fully closed.

We visited St Helens for a long weekend. We booked a 4 berth luxury caravan. Excellent! No problems all weekend. Lovely and clean. Lovely comfy beds and fluffy towels. This is our third visit this year. There is a lovely pub two minutes walk from site (Vine Inn) A must for excellent food and atmosphere. Family friendly and they love dogs too! 5 star for this caravan site. We will be back next year!
