Come relax at “Bay to Beach” located in the gated Plantation community on St. George Island, FL! Our home is the ideal haven for a private, serene get-away, where you can enjoy the fabulous sunsets over the Apalachicola Bay from the deck, stroll to the pristine beaches of St. George Island, or get cozy by the private, screened pool.
Our lovely property offers two walkways, one to the Apalachicola Bay for fishing and one to the beautiful beaches of St. George Island. Our home has 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths for a maximum occupancy of 13 guests, NO EXCEPTIONS. The main living area is located on the third floor and includes a dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, gas fireplace, two living areas with flat screens, and a private master bedroom with a king bed and bathroom.
The second floor includes a master suite with a king bed and private bathroom. There are also two additional king bed suites, as well as a kids’ room with 5 brand new twin XL bunk beds.

-Laundry facilities

*Maximum of 2 small to medium sized DOGS only may be allowed with OWNER APPROVAL only. Pets must not exceed individual weight of 50lbs.

Plenty of room to spread out and have privacy for 7 adults and 6 kids. Great location and only a short, maybe 5 minute, walk to the beach. Lots of trails scattered around to walk, run and bike on within yards of the house. House is part of a community on the island that doesn’t allow golf carts, which are a common thing on other parts of the island, so fyi. The pool area seemed pretty worn out, holes in the lounge chairs and tears in the pool screen. The water always seems very cloudy to me too. Still nice to have a pool to cool off in right there at the place though. Pool area seemed kind of neglected really. Raccoons were an issue too getting into the outside trash multiple different days. They eventually brought us an extra trash dumpster can but that was on our last full day there. We requested it within the first couple days of being there. Also had issues with a sink in the 3rd floor master bath not working. This was conveyed to the host the first day we were there. We were informed that this was known about and was planned to get repaired after we left. Kind of a bummer that we weren’t given a heads up on that. Also when we arrived at 4pm check in time the cleaners weren’t finished and were still there cleaning up the place. I get it that these things happen but wasn't ideal after driving all night. The response from the host wasn’t always very timely but she did usually eventually get back to us with concerns and questions we had during our stay.

Family vacation
The house is beautiful... That being said, it needs some repairs. The right-hand sink is turned off because the faucet will not shut off. The kitchen faucet needs to be anchored as it turns/moves when the spigot is moved from one sink to the other. Also found caterpillars in almost all of the beds which i understand that they are really plentiful at this point of the season.

Comfortable and spacious home
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful property. Plenty of parking. Short, 4 minute walk to the beach, or to the bay pier for fishing. Loved the gated Plantation community, clubhouse pool and fitness center. Only thing that could have been better was the AC struggled on the first floor. Hallway was cool where the thermostat is but the bedrooms were a little warm. To their credit, hosts were responsive on this and promised they’ll be working on correcting airflow for their next guests.

So much gorgeous scenery!
We had our yearly family vacation in your beautiful home and it was amazing! We relaxed! Fishing was fun fun and long days at the beach were great. We traveled to the great fishing town of Appalachicola for terrific seafood and great shopping! I would love to go back!

Excellence at the beach
From the moment we arrived, knew a good time was in store. Everything was better than described. Our weather was excellent, and the house was better. Plenty of room, and lived the big table and all the couches.

Family Vacation
It was a great location for the beach and bay. Adored the little town. The restaurants in town were great! The house was the perfect size for our family. The elevator was a bonus for my elderly in-laws. Would stay here again!!!

Lovely property and beautiful walk to the beach .
This is a beautiful beach and a lovely walk to it. If you rent here , you will experience an incredibly non commercial Fla. One Piggly Wiggly on the island and a few great seafood restaurants are all you need when you have the day to play on the beach and swim in the heated pool (extra to heat) if you go off season. This home is perfect for large family gatherings or gatherings with friends. There is an elevator as bedrooms are on the second and third floors, with main living quarters on the third.

Great place to stay, host is very responsive.
Super clean, easy access to both the beach and the bay. Plenty of sleeping areas and bathrooms for two families or more. Listing has a hot tub, but it is located in the community pool area miles away. The door lock was broken on arrival, but the host was super easy to contact to gain access to the property with a spare key.
I would stay here again.

Annual family beach trip.
My wife and I have been taking a family beach trip to St. George Island since my kids were toddlers. We have stayed many places on the island but “A. B. Sea” is my family’s favorite. Clean, short walk to beach, private setting, well stocked, service is very responsive.
