Management is very difficult to work with. It was stated to my son they would issue a refund for a stay they cancelled. Once ******* contacted them they stated they unfortunately could not refund the money. No damages were reported, but they would not refund me. I paid for 5 night nights and he only stayed 1 night.

The new management is top notch. There's definitely a womans touch present. Surely there was work to be done esthetically, but it was evidently underway. We specifically appreciated the interest that management and caregivers gave to myself and fellow traveler. The lake was eye candy, and considered lagniappe.

Not clean
The hotel rooms were absolutely disgusting. The sheets were dirty, there was dust on everything. Just not cleaned well at all. The room also smelled like someone had been smoking ****.

The hotel room was less than expected when it came to any kind of comfort. The service was extremely rude, no cable, our room smelled of **** smoke which we complained of and they did not offer to move us. My husband got extremely nauseous and still nothing was done. My grandson and kids were told they couldn’t swim and locked the pool area 2 hours before it was supposed to regardless of it being 83 degrees outside. Do NOT STAY HERE!

The Dump
I'll Never make the mistake of staying there again. TV would not work. Brought us another one. Next morning it would not work. Phone in room no dial tones not working. At 7:30 am electric went out in room. Never came back on and no one ever came to room check on it. Had to go down to front dest request another room just to take showers. Breakfast, well not any better. Nothing to drink you coffee out of. Dont waste you time or money on this place. Its the dumps..
