Stayed on 2 separate occasions at Glendower through August and September. Really impressed at this traditional B&B the rooms were comfortable and above all clean. The top floor rooms 8&9 have stunning views across the cathedral, Bishops Palace and out toward the sea - nice to sit and have a hot chocolate to view the sunset. You get a decent breakfast always served efficiently and with a smile. It’s good to know St David’s has a top notch B&B at its heart. Ps no parking but always managed on the pebbles.

Glendower is in a central location in St Davids, so great for walking to the cathedral, shops, pubs and cafes and I was also able to walk to three nearby beaches and also along the coastal path. I had booked but arrived in the evening and had a warm welcome. The ensuite room was comfortable and cosy with tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The shower was hot and good pressure and I had a good night's sleep. The view of the cathedral from the window was a bonus. I had a delicious breakfast and my coeliac disease (gluten free) was well catered for with g/f cereal and bread. There was also yogurt and fruit available. I had a well cooked breakfast with juice and plenty of coffee. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They also very kindly let me leave my rucksack during the day which enabled me to explore without a big heavy bag. Thank you so much.

Jo is a delightful host and her dining room staff are all equally delightful! Breakfast was good and I gather the bacon was delicious! Our room at the back of the house on the garden level was spacious and plenty of drawer space for clothes. usual paucity of hangers in the wall cupboard but we always bring a few with us anyway! The bed was VERY firm which suited one of us rather more than the other! The lovely view towards the coast was a compensation. I do think that it is about time the towels were renewed, we found them very thin and as there is no heating in the bathroom, they stayed damp. Pity the garden is out of bounds but can understand the extra work involved having to clean garden chairs. Overall, an excellent town centre B&B but in high summer, parking may be a problem.

Location: Very central, but still quiet. We had a great view of the cathedral. Good bus connection to White Sands. Room in the attic: Clean, large bathroom, because of the sloping roof you can't stand in the shower. Overall the B&B seemed a bit worn. Owner/staff: Very friendly. Breakfast: Good.
