The stunning, beautifully restored, decorated and impeccable Chateau St. Cyr was a delight and pleasure to stay at for 4 nights. Wendy and Ashley Lane are the perfect hosts and had a wonderful itinerary. We visited Mont St. Michel, a beautiful monastery/commune on an island in Normandy. We visited Omaha Beach, American soldier's cemetery, la Pointe (Rangers) and the memorial and museum. Truly solemn and moving! We visited the oyster capital of Europe, Cancale, sitting on the seawall eating oysters and throwing the shells into the sea!! We visited Saint-Malo, a beautiful port city in Brittany, France. So beautiful, the city is surrounded by granite walls on beautiful beaches. Had a fantastic meal in the old city! We had wonderful breakfasts each day prepared by Wendy and enjoyed meals with their friends from St. Cyr and other American quests staying at their hotel in St. Cyr! A truly delightful and wonderful experience with these wonderful and gracious hosts!!

SCAM DO NOT BOOK YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY! Booked a stay for september 2024 in october 2023 and paid the full amount for the stay. Now in january 2024 the hotel has sent me an email to confirm that I have cancelled my stay (which I absolutely have not!!!). It is impossible to contact the hotel directly as the phone number is disconnected. When contacting All Accor they say there is nothing they can do and that the hotel has cancelled my stay with no explanation and that they can not help me get a refund.

Hotel well located and close to highways and Versailles. Small, aging structure that might need to be renovated. The rooms are simple but functional and lack soundproofing as long as unscrupulous guests returning at night are more discreet in the corridors. The bathroom is small and could do with a little updating. The staff is welcoming and smiling. Private parking at the hotel is free for guests. Very good value for money for a passing stay.

A word of advice: rooms facing the front, i.e. the entrance, should be avoided: on the right a 24-hour total station, on the left a car wash. For the rest, the rooms meet IBis Budget standards, the bedding is correct but nothing more. Simple breakfast with top-notch pastries! The staff is very nice.

It was a truly excruciating experience! The hygiene of this hotel is deplorable. In one room, there was a swarm of dead flies. In the other, we found worms in the shower! This is unacceptable.
