Despite only owning the chateau for a couple of months, our hosts made us most welcome, a wonderful room, great advice on visiting La Rochelle and a lovely couple of days. The Chateau is a special place despite being 19th century, so a relatively "young" Chateau. Our room was very spacious with a king size bed and a large bathroom. Spotlessly clean. There is a lot of work ahead for the family but we wish them well with all their endeavours. If I had a minor observation, the breakfast which was fine, was a little sparse in variety, but I'm sure they will adapt to their new roles as hosts as they become more established. Early days but a great start! Highly recommended. We hope to return to see how they are progressing!

Beautiful château in a small town. A great stop over with friendly service. Limited facilities on site and in town however you are only a 10 minute drive away from supermarkets and eateries

Room not at all as indicated in the description? No hair dryer, no bar, no TV, no toilet in the cleanliness room, if you remove the dust it's limited. Bedroom door that does not lock, gray removable headboard, opened care bottles: a lot of fun!!!!

Notre châtelain est fabuleux, tout ce domaine à entretenir et à améliorer. Pour ceux qui aiment les belles baptiste et l’histoire c’est le lieu. Excellent accueil et nuit au calme. Très bon rapport qualité/prix.
