NEVER AGAIN will I stay at a Choice Hotels property after staying here!! I told the front desk clerk that I had a certified service animal when I checked in. Per this hotel's listing, service animals do not incur any extra charges (and it's ILLEGAL if they do). On my THIRD day there I received a call from the manager informing me that I am being charged an additional $100 because I was assigned a room that was not pet friendly. What?? I was ASSIGNED that room and was already there THREE days and then charged. This place discriminates against people with disabilities, plain and simple. I was told that even Certified support animals are NOT welcome without a $100 fee to disinfect the room. My pup does NOT shed, left no messes in the room, was quiet and no one was bothered by him. I am in the process of disputing this charge and have contacted an ADA Attorney and will be pressing charges against this owner. I had selected this hotel because of the lowest price in the area and it turned into the most expensive place in the area. I was on a budget and this man had no empathy for me as a person. Also, my room was not cleaned once while I was there, the people in the room next to me were smoking pot and the smell seeped into the hallway and apparently that was allowed. I will NEVER STAY in a Choice Hotel Property ever again!!!

I stayed here after staying up to late at a nearby movie theater down the road from this property. Paid about $70 for one night, probably a tad bit more than it should be giving the property hasn't seen any renovations done since this motel was built in the late 1980s as a Days Inn. Despite the dated appearance, the rooms were clean and nothing sketchy was in the rooms in general. Staff was alright but can be a bit better and nicer. Overall, this is an alright hotel but there's definitely better options in terms of budget hotels in this vicinity, I'd probably would only book this property as a last resort type of option
