Hampton Inns usually have great locations to surrounding areas. I needed to travel between both towns in between, great stay.

Rooms were incredibly small. I had to pay a pet fee that I was not told by ******* about. Room was so small hard to move around. Not very clean. It was a connecting room and I could hear everything next door. Very uncomfortable.

Thin walls, could hear loud neighbors very clearl
Thin walls, and we were in an adjoining room situation and the people in the next room were very loud late at night, shouting and talking loud and there were at least 5 of them and I didn't want to cause trouble so I didn't approach them, I figured the front desk wouldn't help so I didn't make a fuss.

Just old and tired
This is an OLD Hampton Inn. No one was out and out rude to us, but when you walked past the front desk, housekeepers, food service people for breakfast, even janitor/maintenance type people and said hello, they'd just look at you like you were the rude one. No microwaves in rooms. Room was 2 queens and TINY. Can't turn room light on or off without closing bathroom sliding door. Everything is just old and run down and not dirty, but not clean. Phones in room didn't work. Advertised as having streaming TV service and movie channels, pay per view, etc none of the above was available. Slow Internet is free but fast internet is $5 a day. Half of the electrical outlets didn't work and none of the USB ports worked.

Loud and uncomfortable
Very loud (mainly from the management). We were woken up several times, but I believe our room is located near a break room or the owner’s room. The bed is very uncomfortable. The room very outdated.

I have stayed at this Hampton Inn before and the reason(s) that I have repeated the experience is:
Check in is easy and staff always seem to be available.
Breakfast times are sensible, the dining area never seems over crowded and the food is good.
Parking area is appropriate for the size of the Inn.

what went well- very friendly front desk staff! We slept very well, the room (other than the shower) was clean and comfortable.
area of opportunity- we never recieved any housekeeping services, towels replaced etc. there was also hair in the shower when we checked in. I am
not sure if we were supposed to request clean towels etc…. never had to do that before
