Une ambiance conviviale ; un lieu de retrouvailles autour d’un petit café ou d’un petit cocktail entre ami ou bien le temps d’un repas le midi avant la reprise du travail. I stayed at Hotel Francois Premier recently for over a week while on business with several colleagues. The hotel is in an excellent location on the main square of Cognac city center. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. Front staff were very friendly and attentive. My room was a nice size, fully equipped and had 2 nice windows. What I liked - Very comfortable bed - Super efficient AirCon - Very quiet - Kettle - Great bathroom with rain shower - Breakfast was high quality with many choices and excellent scrambled eggs - Umbrellas to borrow To Improve - The hotel WiFi for the rooms was broken for the entire time of my stay. My colleagues informed me it was broken for a few weeks - Our entire team ending up purchasing SIM cards with large data included to be able to work from our rooms - No one at the hotel ever reached out to me to offer any kind of compensation for the WiFi situation NOTE: There is limited hotel indoor parking for a fee, but free outdoor parking is very close by

Absolutely loved our stay here. All staff were happy and friendly and it feels as though everything is cared about from the cleaning, general look of the place and furnishings to the breakfast. The location is excellent, we parked the car opposite the hotel on the Friday evening when we arrived and didn’t use it again until we left on the Sunday morning. Perfect in every way.

We were very impressed with this hotel compared to other B&B Hotels. When travelling through France, we always stay in B&B Hotels as they allow dogs and booking is simple and straightforward. This hotel is one of the newer B&B Hotels, and everything was perfect. The location is excellent and there is a hypermarket just across the car park. There’s a microwave in reception for guests to use. We will definitely be choosing this hotel again. Highly recommended.

Ibis Cognac is a great example of a typical Ibis hotel. No frills , reasonably priced with everything we needed for an overnight stay on our road trip to Spain. The bed was comfortable, the facilities clean and the wifi was good. Breakfast offered a great selection and they even provided paper bags for people to take stuff away with them . It was well placed to explore Cognac. We didn’t visit any of the brandy producers but there several within a few minutes of the hotel. There is free parking in the public car park opposite the hotel. Special mention should be given to Lucy on reception who went out of her way to be helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

Wow. What an experience the heritage is! The hotel has been recently renovated to a very high standard and has everything you would ever need. The reception was very well handled and all of the staff have been absolutely wonderful. A special mention to Louise, sarah and carla who were just the best! Nothing was ever too much for us all considering we were with a huge party of family attending a wedding. The room we had was an accessibility room, decent sized but may be a struggle with a wheelchair but table could be moved if needed. The bed was sublime! I have never slept so well and huge! The shower was excellent, although we did have an issue with water leaking into the bedroom but both the cleaners who were excellent (saline and nadia) sorted the issue straight away. The breakfast was lovely, did have to get down there early to get a cooked breakfast though as the hot food isn't replenished. Fresh bread and pastries however were plentiful and delicious. The tv in the room we had wasn't great for english channels but we were hardly in the room so not much of an issue. The bar is always open for whatever you need. The location of the hotel is simply perfect as it is close to the main areas and close to the stunning park. We didn't go to the restaurant but heard very good things about the food so well worth a try! We will hope to return as a couple in the future and look forward to it very much!
