Overall, great location for beach access, horrible location for sleep quality because of street noise, sirens, motorcycles, etc. Pillows are just about flat, room furniture is noisy when moved across the bare floors, very stale smell in the rooms. Very poor sleep quality. Restaurant service excellent; breakfast buffet excellent; dinner menu and service excellent.

We booked a room with ocean view, which we regretted. These rooms are above the restaurant terrace, where there was a super loud music night 2 times a week. We had to listen to the music until 0:00 at night, while trying to put a baby to sleep. We didn’t expect this, however the staff has taken this up seriously. I strongly recommend thinking about booking the ocean view rooms if you don’t enjoy the music nights. The room itself was a bit small, and the bathroom wasn’t designed very practical. Everything was really clean and cleaned properly every time. Breakfast was good. Also the parking was always full at the end of the day, as restaurant guests had to park there as well. We had to park somewhere else during some nights, which is annoying. They offer a parking spot at the parking garage of another van der valk hotel, but our car didn’t fit in that garage.

Centrally located with nice and clean rooms. Staff appear rather bored, no help with local tips and suggestions. Internet quality was poor. Breakfast choice was limited. Parking space also limited. Rooms not really sound proof so we had to,listen to all music nights whether we wanted or not;

A really nice hotel conveniently located close to the beach and restaurants (although the hotel restaurant is really good so no need to venture out if you don’t want to!). The rooms were clean, staff really friendly and convenient parking. I would easily recommend it and definitely go back!

Room very clean and the cleaner did a brilliant job every day. Wi fi was good. Room was lovely as was the shower. Hair dryer was totally in the wrong place could hardly reach it., and not practical standing over a toilet to dry hair. Also the toilet roll holder was so d Far away from the toilet need to have very long arms.. There was no English channels on the Television in the room. Reception staff very ignorant , they just ignore guests , in a week we were not acknowledged once when walking past reception not even a smile. Hotel is in a good position near the beach but is probably best just for a weekend break . Music from hotel and bar across the road is very loud and goes on until late at night.okay
