Extremely disappointing. The hotel does not bear any similarity to the photos on site, in desperate need of a refurbishment. Room smelt of wet dog. Restaurant service was poor, kitchen ran out of food although we arrived 80 minutes before close of service, offered carrot salad and a pizza to share between two. Previous revues said hotel would be refurbished by beginning of this year, this has not happened. Hotel should not be under the Campanile banner.

Avoid avoid , the worst hotel I have ever been to . I wasn’t expecting a lot at £60 a night but this was awful. Only positive was a lovely friendly trainee on reception . The room stank like an ashtray , the shutter was broken so unable to raise. The shower holder was broken . The sheets were stained. The food at the restaurant was dire. The fillet of chicken turned out to be an undercooked leg with some chips and we were charged €11.95 each . Sent the chicken back as didn’t want food poisoning. My advise would be don’t go!

Sleep on our way to Italy. Simple and would have rated 4 stars if not for: horrible smell (I think somebody smoked a lot of cigarettes in there) and some lights didn’t work. Bathroom and the beds were clean

J'ai passé une nuitée avec petit déjeuner à l'hôtel Campanile de Saint Avold du 13 au 14 septembre 2024. Accueil extraordinaire de Cassandra, lit impeccable, chambre propre donnant côté jardin et vraiment calme. Petit déjeuner impeccable. Bravo à l'équipe qui me réconcilie avec les hôtels de chaîne. Continuez ainsi.

Hôtel dans un état d'abandon total tout est vétuste escaliers en béton pour l'accès au premier étage cassé porte de la chambre qui ferme par miracle porte de la salle de bain qui ne rentre pas dans l'huisserie climatisation qui ne fait que du chaud et qui n'es pas complète manque la façade avant ménage laissant plus qu'à désirer nous n'avons pas voulu tester le restaurant par peur de l'ensemble de l'hôtel en résumé à fuir le personnel ma expliqué que cela faisait 30 années que l'hôtel était construit la direction de campanile devrait venir voir la situation alarmante de cette établissement

A notre arrivée, les 4 chambres que nous avions réservé avaient été annulée pour cause de « doublons ». Nous avons dû poireauter 20 minutes le temps qu’ils règlent le problème. Nous avions demandé 4 chambres au rez-de-chaussée comme nous étions chargés et nous avons été éparpillés partout dans l’hôtel (du rez-de-chaussée au 2eme etage. Hôtel très vieillot, seulement 2 prises dans la chambre (une chambre + une dans la salle de bain). Pas de sèche cheveux non plus. Petit déjeuner à fuir!!!!! A 8h il n’y avait plus rien,plus de petits pains; plus de pan cake plus de jus d’orange et j’en passe… expérience vraiment regrettable
