Everything was perfect. Ample parking. Warm welcome. Room exceeded my expectations, nice double bed, dressing gown, pillow spray, very spacious. Breakfast was lovely. Very well located. I used it as a stop over on my way to Penzance but will be back for a relaxing break. The harbour is developing with small shops, manly eateries at moment. Didn’t eat lunch or diner but restaurant was popular and menu looked good. After this pleasant experience I will consider St Austell Brewery hotels more often.

Stayed 4 nights at Rashleigh Arms in room 10 on ground floor of T'Gallants a Georgian house awned by Rashleigh Arms which is 70 metres closer to the harbour than the Rashleigh itself. As you can see from pictures it was a mini suite with 2 TV's , a huge and very comfortable bed and lovely en suite with shower over the bath. We ate 3 out of the 4 nights in the Rashleigh. Food was excellent especially the Rump steak, paella and Sunday lunch. A lovely place. Highly recommended. Special mention also for Jessica who was so helpful and friendly. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so memorable.

Our stay was really enjoyable in nice surroundings. Charlestown is a true delight and the Rashleigh Arms is well situated just up from the harbour!! Our room was lovely and the bed was sumptuous with fluffy pillows. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious!! A brilliant short break which we intend to book to stay again very soon.

Stayed for five nights while visiting many places in Cornwall by rail and road. Room in separate building was clean and comfortable with views towards harbour and the sea. Staff are friendly and breakfast good. The inn is part of St. Austell Brewery so beer is good too. It gets very busy at weekends as does Charlestown's other restaurants which are close by and we dined in three of them. Springtide and Rebellion were our best. Be careful in their carpark which is apparently grade 2 listed and quite challenging on foot!

Stayed 3 nights in room 10 in the Georgian house also owned by Rashleigh Arms on the opposite side of the pub car park. Room rate was very reasonable and, included breakfast which was good. Very comfortable room/suite and comfortable beds. Roomy pub with lovely large outdoor garden/patio. Ideally suited as a base to explore locally (Lost Gardens, Eden, Megavissey) and good road connections to visit further afield in Cornwall. Charlestown boasts a good mix of other pubs/restaurants.
