I chose the Kingsbrae Arms Inn because of its walkability, complimentary breakfast and free parking. It was so much more as it is a historical building filled with art, books and a lovely patio and garden. Dureall was quite friendly and helpful with suggestions for area activities etc. We enjoyed strolling to the waterfront restaurants and the St Andrews Brewery was most enjoyable. The Kingsbrae Gardens are steps away and we got discounted tix there since we were staying at the Inn. The excellent and filling complimentary breakfasts as well as afternoon sherry and baked goods hit the spot. A good place to stay in St Andrews!

Wonderful casually elegant inn with phenomenal breakfast included! Easy walk to downtown. Patio out back was relaxing with gardens literally over the hedge. Pleasant hosts who make you feel like you are staying with friends. I wish that we had stayed longer. Could not have been nicer.

This is definitely a gem of an inn in Saint Andrews. The main section of the inn and the backyard patio are breathtaking, such an enjoyable setting to unwind. The staff were perfect, there really wasn't anything else we could have wanted, we will definitely be back.

Wonderful experience. The people, place and food were excellent. Well kept up property with a beautiful outdoor patio for relaxing and enjoying breakfast. Was a birthday getaway and they upgraded our room. Would definitely return on our next visit to St Andrews.

We recently stayed at the Kingsbrae Arms for a week - even extending our stay we loved it so much. Duraell, Pamela and the whole team made us feel so welcome - ‘part of the family’. The house is wonderful , filled with lovely antique furniture and the terrace / gardens are hugely impressive. We loved the complimentary breakfast , taken on the terrace, and the opportunity to chat with other likeminded guests . I don’t think everyone will like this hotel but those who want deep quality, serenity and friendly unobtrusive service will love it . The WiFi worked fine , but that’s not the point of Kingsbrae Arms - it’s not high tech . A wonderful find and if we are ever back in New Brunswick we will certainly visit again .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the KINGSBRAE Arms. The property is a nice 8 minute walk from the waterfront. It is quiet and right next to the beautiful gardens. Diane and Dureall were the warmest hosts one could hope for. They were extremely helpful in every way. Diane cooks and presents the best breakfast with superb pastries, cereals and eggs together with mimosas. Each breakfast was not only of the highest quality it was ample and kept us going for the whole day. There are also delicious fresh baked cookies available at any time of the day. The property is a historic building and it could do with a light refresh. But on the whole a superb stay.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. The people who run this place are not honest people. I booked a room for my husband and I hoping to have a getaway before our baby arrived. A few months before our planned trip, I decided to email Diane (2022) and ask if I could reschedule due to the pregnancy not going as planned. She told us (I still have the email) that due to covid, they would let us reschedule and we had up until September of 2023. We had already made a down payment for our stay but did not ask for a refund since we new we would we coming the next year. Once it came time to make new reservations as promised by Diane herself, after asking if we could book for June, she wrote me a very condescending email telling me I had no rights to re-book and that they don't offer rescheduling over a year... Despite me showing her the emails she sent me, she still kept our 530$ deposit and never got back to us again! She showed NO compassion for our situation and was very rude about the entire thing. Not only are we out half a grand, we did not get to go on our getaway we had been looking forward to for over a year.

I generally do not write reviews however I had a good laugh about what I read online. I stayed here 2 times last year, coming and going from PEI and already once this year. The staff have been nothing but professional, the continental breakfast was great which even included a complimentary mimosa. I had croissants, pastries, a fruit cup and an omelette with smoked salmon. I agree they have basic cable but that is not why I visit. I enjoyed the sherry and treats. Sat outside and enjoyed the gardens. It is not busy this time of the year so it is my preferred time. Just go.

My wife and I recently stayed at this Inn. I have stayed a lot of high-end hotels, Airbnb's, however this was the worst experience. My wife and I were celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary. When we initially discussed this reservation with Pamela, she highlighted the use of the in suite jacuzzi however when we arrived, it was established that there was no hot water to shower let alone use the jacuzzi feature. Further, my wife and I planned to watch the applications on the smart tv, such as Netflix and prime video however were informed by Pamela that it was opening day and they have to have the internet modem replaced. This meant that the internet features/Wi-Fi was unavailable which caused further inconvenience for my wife whom intended to use the Wi-Fi to work remotely the next day. We paid almost $600 (for one night!) for this less than adequate experience. It is clear to me that this facility was not prepared or in the condition to be open for buisness during our stay. We vacated the property early the next day and when we left there were no staff persons on site to discuss. I have communicated with Pamela, using several means, however no response. Text message - no response Voice messages X 2 - no response Comments page online - no response. The management refused to call me back, email me back or even answer the phone to discuss this complaint. I would highly suggest that nobody ever stay at this very poorly run accommodation. It is way overpriced, and poorly managed.!! The rooms would be average at best. Much better places to stay in the area. Incredibly disappointed with this place!!!
