J avais l appréhension de dormir dans une chambre bruyante compte tenu de sa proximité avec l autoroute mais il n en est rien , chambre parfaitement insonorisée . Chambres plutôt spacieuses avec douches à l italienne . Grand parking , petit déjeuner complet avec accessibilité handicapé . Very friendly welcome and hotel. Closed and perfect parking. The owner and staff are extremely kind. Very professional. And for good reason, we spent one night there while a group who arrived the day before by bus unfortunately marred everyone's awakening. However, the team did what was necessary immediately so that we were as little disrupted as possible. Well done to each of you. A commercial gesture was also generously made by management. We will return without any worries during our next stay in the region.

A small but decent hotel, located in the centre of Valenciennes directly opposite the main railway station. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and dealt with everything I needed. The breakfast was a typical goo French affair - a buffet of fresh pastries, bread & cheese, plus a few cooked items, juice and of course coffee! There is no evening restaurant but that's not a problem as there are several good places nearby. The room was pretty normal, clean, the layout a bit differnt to the standard modern style, but that's the nature of an older building. The bathroom was a 'wet room' with shower, WC and sink in one space which is not ideal as the floor becomes wet all the way across and can be slippery (and there is no cover to the toilet paper). It took a little more effort than usual to dry enough floor to access the sink and toilet after showering. The desk was smaller than I'd like when working, and unfortunately had a microwave occupying most of the the space - which I had to unplug and move to a corner of the floor so I could use the desk. Other than these two minor oddities, a pretty good stay, certainly comfortable for a couple of nights on a business trip.

We spent a weekend in the family in this hotel. We have very well sleeped. Beautiful room, very good litter. Very pleasant and warm home. We have breakfast on Sunday and wonderful wow ! It was very good and we were treated as kings. It was great. Thank you we'll come back!

Easy to book, we booked late in the evening on hotels.com on arrival, seamless. Was a bit unsure about the neighbourhood, but car was still there in one piece in the morning. Best two star I have ever been to. Nice beds, lovely shower and, as it is November, nice temperature in the room. Breakfast had all important ingredients, lovely coffee, croissants and several other things. Well pleased with the service. Definitely recommend this place!

Accueil agréable. Personnel très gentil et professionnel. Très très bonne literie. Un petit déjeuner gargantuesque !! (Bien que le retrait du Maroilles ne soit pas judicieux à mon goût. Le fromage de St Amand n’est pas comparable hélas…). Dommage que le spa ait disparu… Et que le nouvel aménagement du ****** ne permette plus de se rendre au restaurant sans passer OBLIGATOIREMENT par dehors (pas top pour ces dames en jupe lorsqu’il fait très froid). La pièce d’identité à présenter obligatoirement pour aller dîner est à revoir absolument ! Pour celui qui ne va QUE dîner c’est inadmissible (et limite légal…). Situation de l’hôtel idéal pour les visites alentour.
