3-Star Hotels in Saint Albans

I regularly stay at this Premier Inn for work and this was my first stay of the New Year. I paid up front for early check in (new on the website) and so it was great when I arrived just before 1pm to receive a warm welcome from Callum, that my room was ready and I was checked in, ultimate wi fi sorted and a day booked for a room clean as I was staying three days. I had a Premier Plus room which met my standards in a quiet part of the hotel in a corner and as always the rooms are well equipped, nice comfy bed, desk to work on and a fridge. All in all another great stay

We stayed here mid August for one night. A most pleasant place to relax and enjoy a game of cribbage on a beautiful garden from one of the patio chairs with tables. What a beautiful place to enjoy a special event. See my attached photos of the planters and hanging baskets. The staff were kind and attentive. The hotel was quiet even though it is convenient for everything in the middle of St Albans. Breakfast was delicious. How nice to have the toast brought to the table so no waiting for the toaster machine to go round twice! I enjoyed a tasty evening meal of steak pie and apple pie with Villa Maria wine. There were plenty of pasta dishes on the reasonably priced menu. No need to go out to eat. I would happily stay there again and enjoy another Choral evensong in the Cathedral, a visit to the Roman amphitheatre to see a summer play snd perhaps a little shopping....

We have just come back from a 2 night stay. We chose this hotel as its a 30 minute drive from Wembley and wasn't expensive like the other hotels. We arrived 2 hours early for check in however the gentleman at reception checked us in no problem and gave us access to our room. Our room was a good size with a double bed and additional pull out sofa bed. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay such as an iron, kettle, hairdryer and towels. There was even a little sign in the bathroom letting us know if we had forgotten anything just let them know. Breakfast both days was lovely with plenty of choice. It did get busy towards the end but we were advised of this on check in. We didn't get back from Wembley till 3am this morning but after a quick email to reception at half 7, they sorted out late check out so we could have a bit more sleep before our 4.5 hour journey home. The staff here work so hard and it seemed to be the same 2 faces our entire 3 day stay. I honestly don't know how they do it and keep smiling. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will definitely return.
