For my RE_PRAY trip, I found a vacancy before departure and booked this hotel instead. It was nice not to have to run around.
Just two steps from the south exit of Saga Station is the Sakura Hotel. The location is very convenient. The bus stop is also very close and it is very convenient to go to and from the airport. It takes about 20 minutes to walk slowly to SAGA ARENA, which is very convenient.
There is also a large COMBOX supermarket next to it, which is very easy to buy. Sushi and sashimi are half-priced in the evening, which is very cost-effective. The strawberry and maple waffles are also delicious. Unfortunately, there is no place to cook, so I didn’t buy the half-priced side on Saturday. He Niu, there’s a lot of food around.
There is a hot spring pool on the first floor, but there are not many people taking a bath. If you walk there in the early morning, you can basically take a bath alone, which is very refreshing.
Breakfast every day is delicious (I usually have a bowl of porridge and a steamed bun). When I get up in the morning, it's so delicious. The curry and bread are very fragrant. The breakfast coupon is also designed to look good, but it's a pity that I can't keep it.
The front desk staff provide very good service, but they can basically only communicate in Japanese. There is only one staff member who can speak a little English. It is recommended to prepare a translation app.
The room is of normal size, a 26-inch suitcase will be a little cramped, and there is a humidifier! When I checked in, I saw a paper crane folded on the table, ありがとう~
Thank you Saga for leaving me such wonderful memories🩵

The room is quite old and the accommodation of women is severe. It seems that cleaning is only appropriate and visible. Everyone is emphasized that it is cheap, but I paid 9200 yen for accommodation and 800 yen for breakfast, but anything is too expensive. Good points Near the station There is a welcome drink for coffee There is a large communal bath and a library Bad points Please clean it well The room is cigarette-like When I asked the directions from the station on the reservation phone, I saw the navigation system I was pushed out.

We enjoyed our stay at Garden Terrace Saga, with its modern rooms and superb service. We arrived after a long day of travels around Saga prefecture. Please note that there is an entrance via Shinei Dori Street, Dive through the red building tunnel, across a short bridge and make a left turn, the hotel is on your right. After a quick check-in process, we were escorted to our room on the 6th floor. Our agent had booked us the honeymoon suite and it was absolutely lovely. After a brief introduction, she left us to our own devices. Upon entry, two large double beds occupied the double ceiling area. This room was at the apex of the Isosceles-triangle-shaped hotel. Beds had clean and smooth sheets and was super comfortable. Bedside charging points are in built into the side table area. A large flat screen TV is mounted on the wall in front of the bed. Mostly local TV channels though! Walking beyond the beds is the make-up table with comfy chair and large mirror. The closest is behind this and you can find slippers, bath robes and the room safe here. There is an exit door behind the floor to ceiling mirrors here too, with staircase leading down. I believe the housekeeping uses this to get into the room. Beware that the door was not locked when we found it. Some added security here for guests would be ideal. Moving back to the main door, and to the right is a small toilet area, separate from the shower/bathroom area. The standard Japanese toilet and small sink is housed here. if you walk to the left as you approach the main door, there is a large sitting area with comfy sofa, and another TV. There is also a 6 seater dining table. The hotel was really good to us and gave us a box of cakes that was left in the man-height fridge. The hotel also notified the Teppanyaki restaurant that I had a bottle bubbly from a previous stay in the fridge. Thus restaurant flipped the beverage menu to the champagne page we were given the menus. We liked this sharing of information! There is tea and coffee making facilities here too. Wifi is standard throughout the hotel and it was pretty fast and strong.. The bathroom is right behind the living room TV. Double sinks and loads to amenities. There was also a bottle of bathing sake for guest use. A rain shower and bath tub is connected to the bathroom. One can also exit the bathroom and into the enclosed balcony area [or go out via the living room]. where there is a large seating area is ready to welcome guests, as well as a jacuzzi. I went down to the gym on the two mornings we overnighted here. The gym is small and narrow with very select machines. One multi function weight machine, two light dumbbells station and one treadmill and bicycle/elliptical [?] machine. There is a small swimming pool and a Sauna cabin next to it. Towels and water are readily available. Our room came with breakfast and they arranged for us to take it in the Eecutive lounge. The breakfast can either be Japanese or Western. We went with we

It is a historic old house, decorated very artistic, full of paintings and calligraphy. The location is some distance from Saga Station. If you take a taxi from JR Station, it will be about 1,000 yen. If you walk, it will take about 20 minutes to pass through Chinatown, and there are many restaurants and coffee shops on the road.
The hotel is diagonally opposite the Yuwu (Saga's old department store), but this road is extremely quiet and the Japanese-style room is very good. But the area is really too small, the bed is made at night, there is basically no place to stand.
On the first day of stay, the hotel may have many guests, but still encountered ”bad things”. First, the toilet was not cleaned, the waiter sincerely apologized and changed the room for us; Then went downstairs for dinner, but after coming up, they should have made the bed when we ate, but it may be that the service staff is not enough and the bed is not made.
But fortunately, it was solved in time. The hotel proprietress is very elegant, there is a service staff at the front desk, Chinese, Japanese, and English are very, very good, and communication is completely fine. We stayed for two days, and they specially prepared different content for dinner, so as not to eat the same for two days. That's very intimate.
If you come to Saga and want to try a quiet family hotel, but it is too late to go to the mountains in the countryside, this is still quite recommended.

I left Saga for the first time. It was near the moat of Saga Castle, quiet, and the building facilities, beds and living rooms had a history, but the linens were clean, so it was also tasteful and there was no discomfort. I would have been grateful if the front desk staff were small and the hospitality was a little more substantial, but it may be unavoidable because it is the end of the corona. Breakfast was Japanese and Western 々 and I was able to have a fun meal with my friends from the morning. Saga was quiet and healed enough as Hiro 々. Also, I would like to visit hot springs slowly.

The hotel is not close to the station and is more suitable for guests driving. The front desk staff is courteous and there is welcome coffee for check-in. For country hotels, the room is not big, but it is very clean. Our room was originally made up can not open the window, and the air is not circulating enough. After reporting to the front desk, he brought an electric fan and a key to the next room, so we decided to turn around. Finally, we decided to turn around the room where we could open the window, and we slept comfortably until dawn.

We stayed at the Ohana for three nights in a Western room. The hotel also has Japanese style rooms. The room was large, clean and had a great view over the garden. The lack of cupboards or shelves meant we had to put our clothes on the floor. Japanese hotels often have limited storing space for clothes, but the Ohana took it a bit further. Wlan was fast and free. The staff is polite, very friendly and helpful. Parking is free and the staff reserves spots for the guests. A set Japanese breakfast at 7.30 or 8.00, no other options. The Japanese breakfast was extensive and of excellent quality, the western breakfast we got served the second day was also very good. The hotel has a two person public bath and free transport and entrance to a much larger onsen with extensive facilities. Hard to compare this hotel with a regular hotel because of its specific character. I would certainly recommend staying here.

Yanagawa is a peaceful and beautiful water town. This is an old-style hot spring hotel with older but clean facilities. Rich breakfast and attentive service. The hotel gives away a coupon of 1,000 yen per person, which can be used to participate in the river cruise activities organized by the hotel. Great!

Outstanding
XXiaweiyidezaochenThe traffic location is particularly convenient. It takes 5 minutes to get off the subway. The Japanese also like this hotel because it is in a great location. There is nothing special about breakfast. The room is clean.
GGuest UserFriendly staffs, clean rooms. Right beside Saga station which have a lot of restaurants around. Complimentary breakfast provided and there is quite a lot of choices. Can wash your laundry at level 7. Only accept 100 yen coins for laundry payment, just change with the front desk if needed.
GGuest UserThe female dorm has a security entrance, so I felt safe staying here.
There is a shopping area just behind the hotel, and lots of eateries available. The Kumamoto castle is also within walking distance.
The washroom's cleanliness and amenities are tip top. There are no complaints. There is also a washing machine and dryer which is convenient if you need to do some laundry during your travels.
There is also a female bath but I didn't have time so I have no comments on that.
There was also a rest area for dining which is good for people who wants to eat take-away or convenience store foods. There is a hot water provider and microwave, but there was no drinking water supply. (I guess you'll need to buy bottled water, which in this case, there are several vending machines within the premise)
