The staff, especially Lisa, is friendly and accommodating. Guests enjoyed comfortable, clean beds and the proximity to the beach with stunning views. However, some found the accommodation too close to the beach.

It's super good. I will stay here again if I have a chance next time. This is a true vacation. Dinner is by the ocean, and you can enjoy the sunset and sunset while dining. I ate the most delicious lobster 🦞 here, bar none. People who like Samoa are simple and enthusiastic. Sleep until three poles in the sun every day, eat breakfast, and then go swimming in the nearby ocean to catch fish 🐟, or just face the sea and bask in the sun on the balcony of your room. It’s just that there are a lot of mosquitoes 🦟, so you have to buy mosquito repellant before going to the island. Except that the bath water is not hot, there are no other disadvantages. People who like cats 🐱 can also pet cats. The cats here are so cute! It hurts to be sensible. There are several attractions nearby as well. The taxi driver the hotel helps call is very reasonable. Much cheaper than calling from the pier. If you want to go, you can contact the hotel to help call a car to pick you up. recommend!

I didn’t have super high expectations of this place as the recent reviews aren’t great! It is very low budget accommodation at a hugely overinflated price! Upon arriving staff basically threw the keys over and left me to my own devices. No letting me know where the facilities were or where breakfast or anything else was. The room is rundown and downright dirty. I had dead cockroaches and millipedes throughout. The toilet seat was yellow from discolouration. The shower tap fell off the wall each time I tried to use it. Beds are uncomfortable and mattresses are worn and old. Furniture is old and stained. Air-con drips water onto the floor and struggles to work. The lock on my door was physically falling off and the door was swollen so hard to open and close. The reason I have given two stars is the location …. Beautiful beach, beautiful views, good snorkelling, amazing sunrise / sunset, pure peace and quiet! The staff member who gave us transfers (Leo) was lovely and so helpful! You are paying for location only here, not the facilities! But the price is way too high! With some upgrades and cleaning this place has so much potential to be amazing!

The best I can say about Stevenson’s at Manase is its location and its accommodation. Our party stayed in 2 adjacent Euro Fales which looked out over beautiful ocean and sunset views. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked beautifully. There was enough room to not feel cramped. Breakfast each morning was plentiful with a selection of choices, fresh pots of coffee or tea and a daily special of either scrambled eggs or fried eggs. On the negative side my biggest issue was with their method of billing for drinks and food. Although we asked at each order for our bills to be separated for each fale, there was no request to sign each bill so as to establish its authenticity. This meant that when we all checked out we received a ‘lump sum’ bill, with no itemised accounting. We found later, by comparing our respective bills that we had paid for items from our friends’ bill and vice versa. There was no way of challenging their accounting system, so we paid and tried to sort it out between ourselves. The lunch and dinner menus varied very little and had very limited choices, on top of this the meals were quite expensive. Most food is deep fried. The resort is certainly tired-looking and rundown but the pool was clean. Our friends’ fale next door had the power go out every day in the afternoon. We all got to know the resort electrician quite well! Daily cleaning was non-existent unless you asked at reception – we stayed 6 days.

Very expensive for what it is. For solo travelers I recommend to go to the fales , better food and much cheaper. Almost 400 US dollars for the room, no air con bed not particularly comfortable ... need some update. Not even a nice breakfast.. I mean , the minimum possible.. Hopefully the ocean make me forgot about that and the beautiful sunset and sunrise too 😌

What a disappointment Stevensons was. Very little effort has been put into maintenance for many years and the place is extremely run down and dirty. Location is ok but the new seawall (not in website photos) has ruined the beachfront and the concrete stairs to access the water are hazardous and constantly blocked by five paddleboards & sea kayaks (of which there were only two unbroken paddles). Staff are mostly friendly (aside from the reception) but did blast loud music until midnight and again at 7am. Food was better than expected but pricey. Breakfast was decent. Read the recent reviews and avoid this place. If you want e resort experience then you would be much better served staying at Le Lagoto or Savai'i resorts which are just down the road or if you are looking for a beach fale experience stay at one of the others next door for much less.

It is in a beautiful location, the staff were kind, the breakfast was pretty good and the aircon worked well. It looks like it was once an impressive place, I suspect the photos they post on their website are old. It does not look like this now. It is very run down. The pool/restaurant areas have not been maintained. The whole place has a sad vibe, almost abandoned. The pool has cracked tiles on and around it, bits of the pool floor are breaking off. The pool is dirty with algae on edges. The pool run off is stagnant black green sludge. I cannot believe how much they are charging to stay here and claiming it is high end. Maybe it once was, but it is not now. Avoid!!

Mixed feelings about this place. I agree with the previous review. Our villa was fantastic, clean, comfortable and so close to the beach. Just loved it. The people were friendly except maybe one receptionist, who wasn't very helpful. We booked a half Island tour asking for a comfortable car and a driver who could be a guide. Ended up with a dirty uncomfortable taxi, no air-conditioning for 6 hour trip. The driver, nice as he was couldnt answer any of our questions. My advise is go see the blowholes and waterfall whilst down near the ferry. Arrange your own transport, find a taxi driver you like or rent a car. My partner also had the beef burger and was violently ill and sick for the next 4 days. Breakfasts and cocktails were superb. Didn't swim in the pool but spent alot of time in the ocean, which was just beautiful. My room had a maintenance issue which was fixed straight away. One last thing, the cats. I don't like cats but this place has so many it can't be hygienic.

Recently there in Jan 2024. Overall, an average stay for 2 families. We stayed in the 2 family units. The highlight of this hotel is the pool and beach. We enjoyed and made use of the pool, kids swam in pool every day. We liked and enjoyed the breakfast. The pancakes are really nice. Our beds were very comfortable. Rooms were clean, but the overall facility has basically seen better days, and looking tired. But the location /view is beautiful. We arrived very very late past check-in time, so appreciated the staff waited for us. Overall our stay was fine, we didnt have high expectations, and knew it wasnt going to be flash. Its a realistic stay for a lower* rated hotel. Food-Unfortunately my daughter had an undercooked meat pattie in her burger, and then got sick and had bad diarroeah for the next 4 days which was really disappointing. Our highlight was the pool which was nice and big, and a really beautiful view of the beach from the pool.
