The staff, especially Lisa, is friendly and accommodating. Guests enjoyed comfortable, clean beds and the proximity to the beach with stunning views. However, some found the accommodation too close to the beach.

I enjoyed my stay the breathtaking views, the service was excellent, the breakfast were delicious. Only downfall there was NO wifi at all, had to use my own data, especially when indicated in the booking there was free wifi…there was NO eftpos machine to withdrawal money from at the resort. The little fale seemed a bit run down, the toilet was broken the whole thing wasn’t sealed to the ground…

When I had requested a burger meal for lunch, delivered to my room. When I called back after 75 minutes, still waiting for my order. They said the burger pattie was frozen. I understood ir was quiet season and they didnt have many guests. This still does not explain why they did not call me back as a courtesy to change to what they had available. I am easy going, however simple things to improve communication can help them in future situations. The Food at Savaii Resort, lagoto Resort and Spa and Kokonut all down the road... Tops... Make up for my circumstances

It's super good. I will stay here again if I have a chance next time. This is a true vacation. Dinner is by the ocean, and you can enjoy the sunset and sunset while dining. I ate the most delicious lobster 🦞 here, bar none. People who like Samoa are simple and enthusiastic. Sleep until three poles in the sun every day, eat breakfast, and then go swimming in the nearby ocean to catch fish 🐟, or just face the sea and bask in the sun on the balcony of your room. It’s just that there are a lot of mosquitoes 🦟, so you have to buy mosquito repellant before going to the island. Except that the bath water is not hot, there are no other disadvantages. People who like cats 🐱 can also pet cats. The cats here are so cute! It hurts to be sensible. There are several attractions nearby as well. The taxi driver the hotel helps call is very reasonable. Much cheaper than calling from the pier. If you want to go, you can contact the hotel to help call a car to pick you up. recommend!

The view of the ocean is breath taking. The customer service the amenities were off the chart. The rooms were nice and bed comfortable. The only issue I had, is due to my mobility issues. I use a walker or for distance a mobility scooter. The entryways have raised thresholds and step ups from bathroom/shower areas to the bedrooms, this made it more challenging for me. but the bathroom/shower areas were large and accommodating. I would highly recommend these locations and would stay there again!!

I didn’t have super high expectations of this place as the recent reviews aren’t great! It is very low budget accommodation at a hugely overinflated price! Upon arriving staff basically threw the keys over and left me to my own devices. No letting me know where the facilities were or where breakfast or anything else was. The room is rundown and downright dirty. I had dead cockroaches and millipedes throughout. The toilet seat was yellow from discolouration. The shower tap fell off the wall each time I tried to use it. Beds are uncomfortable and mattresses are worn and old. Furniture is old and stained. Air-con drips water onto the floor and struggles to work. The lock on my door was physically falling off and the door was swollen so hard to open and close. The reason I have given two stars is the location …. Beautiful beach, beautiful views, good snorkelling, amazing sunrise / sunset, pure peace and quiet! The staff member who gave us transfers (Leo) was lovely and so helpful! You are paying for location only here, not the facilities! But the price is way too high! With some upgrades and cleaning this place has so much potential to be amazing!

The best I can say about Stevenson’s at Manase is its location and its accommodation. Our party stayed in 2 adjacent Euro Fales which looked out over beautiful ocean and sunset views. The beds were comfortable and the shower worked beautifully. There was enough room to not feel cramped. Breakfast each morning was plentiful with a selection of choices, fresh pots of coffee or tea and a daily special of either scrambled eggs or fried eggs. On the negative side my biggest issue was with their method of billing for drinks and food. Although we asked at each order for our bills to be separated for each fale, there was no request to sign each bill so as to establish its authenticity. This meant that when we all checked out we received a ‘lump sum’ bill, with no itemised accounting. We found later, by comparing our respective bills that we had paid for items from our friends’ bill and vice versa. There was no way of challenging their accounting system, so we paid and tried to sort it out between ourselves. The lunch and dinner menus varied very little and had very limited choices, on top of this the meals were quite expensive. Most food is deep fried. The resort is certainly tired-looking and rundown but the pool was clean. Our friends’ fale next door had the power go out every day in the afternoon. We all got to know the resort electrician quite well! Daily cleaning was non-existent unless you asked at reception – we stayed 6 days.

Very expensive for what it is. For solo travelers I recommend to go to the fales , better food and much cheaper. Almost 400 US dollars for the room, no air con bed not particularly comfortable ... need some update. Not even a nice breakfast.. I mean , the minimum possible.. Hopefully the ocean make me forgot about that and the beautiful sunset and sunrise too 😌

What a disappointment Stevensons was. Very little effort has been put into maintenance for many years and the place is extremely run down and dirty. Location is ok but the new seawall (not in website photos) has ruined the beachfront and the concrete stairs to access the water are hazardous and constantly blocked by five paddleboards & sea kayaks (of which there were only two unbroken paddles). Staff are mostly friendly (aside from the reception) but did blast loud music until midnight and again at 7am. Food was better than expected but pricey. Breakfast was decent. Read the recent reviews and avoid this place. If you want e resort experience then you would be much better served staying at Le Lagoto or Savai'i resorts which are just down the road or if you are looking for a beach fale experience stay at one of the others next door for much less.
