La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Safford Copper Valley

We booked a suite with Baymont when we made our reservations. We did not receive a suite. Upon our arrival we asked if they had new construction going on. The lady at the desk informed us that they had renovations on going. The lady at the front desk was not very helpful and seem very curt and wanting to disengage with us. We received our room key and went to the room using the elevator which had construction going on at the entrance to the elevator. We proceeded to room 225 and were very surprised to note that the striker plate on the door frame was not there. The door latch would just be in the hole where the striker plate should be installed, and the door was not secure. The room was not completely furnished. A table and chairs were missing. We were very disappointed and will not stay there again. I am curious why would the lady at the front desk put us in a room under construction and /or not completed yet? I believe you have a serious problem with staff and their people skills. Thank You !!! Our booking number is ***********, our confirmation number is *************.

This property is being remodeled which I would have liked to have known before I book. The bathtub was not very appealing. The toilet ran on and off all night. I put the do not disturb sign on the door but at 9:20 am there was knock on the door twice only to ask me if I needed anything! Very rude!!

TV was terrible. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was nasty. Other than that not bad. Probably won’t stay there again.

Missing Staff Check in no one at the front desk had to wait what seemed like a long time for someone to come out of the back room. No sign or anything. Room and hotel clean but bed frame broken so sleep was difficult rolling to the center of the bed holding on to edges all night lol. Tried to tell front desk at exit to maybe check the bed out for future guests but again absent front desk at 930 am exit. Not a soul to be found! Terribly ran with service. Absent staff! But room cleanliness was on point, bathroom very clean stocked and ready. Tv speakers blown out like the bed! A lot of crackling but for a one night stay who cares really. It’s decent, not the best and service absent.

My room was next to the stairwell and exit. Both doors slammed so violently and traffic was coming in and out all night. The room door had gaps along the sides that allowed light, and likely critters, into the room. It had potential, but made for a terrible night's sleep.

They stay was great . The ony thing wrong with this place is they have a really bad squealing noise in the pool room its very very load
