I was worried when I saw the average reviews online. But after staying for three days, I still felt good. We stayed in a suite with a sauna, which was quite large and clean. The sauna and fireplace were also quite good. Although there were not many people at the front desk, the service attitude was very good. The resort hotel in Surrey Hills has large rooms and a sauna, which is very convenient for your own operation. The balcony of the room was facing a small wood, and the scenery after the heavy snow was beautiful. In addition to Finnish and English, there are Japanese in the hotel. No wonder there are many Japanese tourists here, but most of them are middle-aged and elderly. After the Spring Festival, I made a lap in Lapland. There are only few Chinese in Surrey. Bad management during check in. I book an Apartment for 2 nights for this stay but I got the room for 1 night each. Staff told me I have to change room tomorrow and check out at 12PM. So that mean first night I stay and tomorrow check out 12PM and wait for a new room. Also, the apartment is very far from reception. Luckily, I have a car. Imagine if I don't have a car, I have to carry big luggage from the apartment to reception to check out and wait for new room later and move my luggage to new room again, how was it? Moreover, when I check out at 12PM staff told me the room will ready for check in around 2 hours. Then came back to check in again for second at 3PM another staff told me the room is not ready yet and policy for the Apartment check in time is 6PM. ***!!! I said I need the room now because this is unacceptable. Then staff told me the room is ready and give me the key card. So, for this situation I waste the time for half day to pack my luggage, move a lot of luggage to my car with a lot of snow, check out, go to reception for check out, wait the new room, wait, wait, wait, and come back to check in and got very bad answer that she told the room is not ready, and go to check in again, move my luggage to new apartment with a lot of snow, and take a rest. VERY BAD!!!!!

The most cost-effective accommodation in Finland. It took some time to find the front desk, and I was very satisfied with everything else! There is a large space for breakfast, and the bathroom provides a sauna room with bath towels and towels. I am really surprised! It snowed when we went, and we participated in the husky sledding activity. There was a 10[%] discount and the hotel was a partner. It was more affordable than ordering online in advance, so satisfied! The transportation is convenient. The bus is in the Holiday club, dozens of meters away from the front desk, and the supermarket is about 600 meters away. There is also a public sauna, but it is too cold to go out. It is more convenient to enjoy in the room! Will choose here next time I go...

This is an old fashioned apartment. After the first impression that was not optimal, the apartment turned to be just as promised: a very basic and cheapish apartment which can accommodate 6 persons. I have no bad feelings about the place. Everything seems to be working as promised but it’s definitely not luxurious accommodation. The breakfast is better. There was a lot of choice. Especially the pastry selection was good. The breakfast is quite far from the apartment but I didn’t think that as a problem. So, yes. I was able to stay there happily for a few days but I wasn’t seeking for a luxurious stay.
