Saanen Hotels with Wi-Fi

Absolutely stunning place. The only downside was that I was here for a conference and despite touring the place, didn't get to try the pool, spa and the awesome infrastructure (bike, backpack and other equipment loan, guided walks, etc). The setting is absolutely stunning and everything from the cool lobby bar area to the awesome kids lounge is top notch. I'm making plans to come back with the family: summer or winter, it looks like the perfect place for a break.

A very special family-owned hotel with super-friendly staff. Where else do you find three different saunas plus a steam room, a gym, a swimming pool and all sorts of facilities for small children? But even with all that together with skiing (a few minutes walk from the lift), don't expect to lose weight. Breakfast is easily enough to take you beyond tea-time (free cakes) and then comes a multi-course dinner of delicacies delivered by Markus. Oh well, there's always next week to start dieting. My grandchildren are the 4th generation of the family to come to Saaanenmoser - my father started us off over 60 years ago - which says enough about this great place.

This 3 star hotel punches much above its ratings. The rooms are very well appointed, with contemporary furniture, very comfortable beds, spacious, and well equipped. Excellent toilet and shower facilities. All well above what you would expect for a 3 star hotel. The restaurant serves a good breakfast, and the evening menu is excellent. All aur meals were delicious, with a Swiss menu with a Mexican twist. The staff were very friendly, and the Director has a quirky sense of humour! We were upgraded to a ”south” facing room. It was quite roomy, furnished with new-looking pine furniture (desk, small table, 3 chairs). Ceiling lined with pine planks, rustic curtains. Very nice little balcony (table + 2 chairs). Size of the room more than adequate and SPOTLESSLY clean (like everything else in the hotel). Bathroom looked like it was remodelled yesterday (clean!!). The large bed (king size) very comfortable. This side of the hotel very quiet, in spite of facing the rail station. Almost no noise from fellow guests. Possible minuses: No minibar, no coffee maker, but an immense menu for available room service. On the main floor a cozy ”lobby”/reading room with soft (extremely low!) sofas - again very quiet and inviting. Every afternoon on the main floor free coffee/tea and cake (homemade). The restaurant is not inexpensive, but the food is exceptional, as is the service (the kitchen serves food continuously from lunch to late night). Make reservations early, since the place fills up fast. The personnel very capable and efficient. Kitchen a bit slow (but not by Swiss standards...). But the wait is worth it. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous: I.e. smoked salmon; cold cuts, a big selection of local cheeses, eggs cooked to order (diy), terriffic breads. Free parking; electric car charging station on premises. The owner Bruno Kernen sees to it that everything runs as it should and is very personable and most helpful (as is the whole staff). In sum: Everything is as described in the official description and ratings. But the reality is much, much better than the theory promises.

Amazing newly renovated and in best location in Gstaad! Great room and views! Staff were super friendly - Ivan and all in reception. Very helpful and made us and everything feel good.

They amaze you in every way. All of them smile with warm heart and you don't feel like going back. Location is perfect with serene river flowing at a walking distance. Rooms are spacious and neat, clean & well maintained with all the necessary amenities. The Food at ”Pizzeria” is delicious. It is 30 mins from Glacier 3000 and bus stop is 5 mins away. They provide free transfer both ways. What more we can ask for? Definitely will be going back again! Other Swiss hotels should learn from you.
