Great location close to restaurants, cabin lifts and the outdoor pool Käpt’n Hook. Nice clean room with balcony. Joker Card included. Good breakfast. Friendly service in reception and restaurant. Good price except that parking fee was a bit excessive.

Arrived at the hotel and was booked in by the manager from the hotel opposite as pre arranged. When we came downstairs for dinner and meeting the Danish manager for the first time, we introduced ourselves. He was very rude to us saying we’d not booked half board. We had to argue with him and prove by getting email confirmation from the company we’d booked with in the UK. So once we’d got over that problem we tried to enjoy the rest of our holiday, only to have him be rude again when we forgot to order our evening meal choices one day. The impression we got for most of the holiday was the season was coming to an end and a lot of the staff really didn’t want to be there anymore. Rooms were very poorly cleaned and not once was the floor in our room brushed or mopped. The few dining staff that were extra helpful, ended up saving this hotel from getting zero stars.

We stayed at the Bärenbachhof for three nights. The rooms are average, showing their age, but clean. The same goes for the bathroom and the dining room. The staff were very friendly and took care of everything. The breakfast was really great. Fresh, with all the usual things. There was good coffee, tea and plenty of fruit. The location is also very good thanks to the large parking lot. The supermarket and pharmacy are within walking distance, as is the town of Saalbach.

Top hotel. Goede prijs/kwaliteit! Voornamelijk gerund door jong (Deens) personeel, allemaal erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en goed Engels sprekend. +Schone kamers. +Super goed ontbijt (van 7:00 tot 9:30). +Heerlijk diner, paar dagen keuze menu, paar dagen buffet (van 18:00 tot 20:00). +Sauna -Geen koffie/thee faciliteiten op de kamer. -Automatische deur naar de badkamer is niet prettig. Kortom, wij zouden hier terug komen :)

Das Hotel storniert 1 Tag (!) vor der Anreise von sich aus die 2 Monate vorher BESTÄTIGTE Buchung und zwar mit der Begründung "es ist nichts los". Die Alternative hat mehr als das doppelte gekostet und auf Nachfrage nach einer Kompensation dieser Differenz kommt nichtmal eine Antwort. Ich muss von daher davon abraten, bei diesem Hotel zu buchen.
