Restaurant: Staff during our first week of our stay, specifically one waiter, was extremely rude. Everything for us felt like a race against the clock, ordering, eating, ... When our course was finished, but the children were still eating, the next courses were already 'thrown' on the table. Cutlery for desert was thrown in the middle of the table, with the implicit unspoken message, 'sort it out yourselves'. Requests which other waiters fulfilled without any issues or problems, were not possible according to this waiter. I've never experienced anything like this in my whole live. Unimaginable to have to describe this treatment in a 4 star superior hotel. Even a bar or fastfood place has better service. After complaining, this issue was sorted out. But In our opinion, this should not have been an issue in the first place! Check-in: We did not receive a welcoming drink, like all the other guests did. Check-in was very chaotic. We eventually ended up in our room without even receiving key-cards. Just information about the Joker Card. Then we were told that everything else we should already know from the previous visit 8 years ago. Also mentioned the welcoming drinks during our visit to the reception for our complaint about the restaurant staff member. Message we got there: oh, we follow a strict protocol for check-ins, that should not happen. "If you want, you can have the drink now". We did not accept the drink, as we absolutely don't want to beg for things. A small attention could have made this very human mistake, forgettable (e.g. some fruit in the room, or some drinks in the room). But not a single bit of initiative from the staff. In general, we got the idea or the impression that we were a nuisance to the staff, that's at least the vibe we got off of everybody. No apologies received, no compensation whatsoever. So we wonder where this 4 stars with superior ranking comes from. Compared to other comparable ranked hotels we visited the last 8 years, this hotels barely deserves 3 stars. And where was the management, they were complete champions in their absence! So would we recommend Eva Village to other people. NO. Absolutely not.

Just returned from a fantastic family holiday to Eva village in Saalbach. This hotel gets the right balance between smart luxury and relaxed family hotel. Saalbach also a wonderful place for a family holiday with loads of activities in the mountains for children all accessed for free! We will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent family holiday. Hotel was amazing, room to an extremely high standard and the food out of this world. Can’t wait to come back next year.

This was our first time at Eva Village and we will definitely be returning. The service is excellent, the staff are very attentive, hotel is being kept spotlessly clean and the food is amazing. It also has a really nice spa with indoor pool and the saunas and steam room are beautiful and just what you need after a long day hiking!

My third visit to this hotel on 5 July 2025 for a week. The hotel is conveniently located on the main pedestrian street and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, dressing gowns and slippers are provided with pool towels. The vast hot and cold choice at breakfast has something for everyone. The evening meal choice is excellent, with a full vegan menu if you required this. The food was beautifully presented and cooked by the Chefs. All the staff are friendly, helpful, and clearly well trained. The Allure suite (327) that I had booked via TUI (additional cost) was on the top floor in a corner, it was very hot and dark as it was under the roof. The next day I asked reception if any other room was available. I was given an upgraded suite (311) at no additional charge, this was a fabulous 48 sq mt room much brighter and cooler. The cleanliness in all areas of the hotel is to a very high standard. The joker card gives free unlimited access to 6 lifts/cable cars in the valley, and a free bus pass also covers the Zell am See area. The Schattberg Xpress and Kohlmaisbahn lifts are a short distance from the hotel. There are plenty of walks in the Sallbach & Hinterglemm area at low and high level. A fairly flat pedestrian /cycle path from Sallbach to Jausen with bus stops along the route if you wish to walk one way, you can also enjoy some of the fitness trail if you wish - great fun on the different activity stations.

Tui are selling an upgrade to Cristalle suite and their picture is wrong, they are aware it is wrong. The hotel have told them it is wrong but they have not removed it. You therefore do not get the suite you expect or are paying for. Not the hotels fault
