Greeted by the manageress Amanda who was friendly and very efficient and also informative about the inn and about Rye town where to go. Met the chef Jim who cooked some outstanding dishes. Overall outstanding property looking forward to our return.

22 of us visited here on 24/11/24 and it was flawless. The service and quality of food (especially given how many of us there were), was incredible. I had the pork belly and then the apple and cinnamon crumble which were both excellent. All of the staff were super kind and attentive. Highly recommend and would come again for sure! Thanks again.

Stayed for Rye fireworks display. A really nice stay over, and a really nice pub. We were given one of the outside, what they call, cottages with all amenities at hand. Breakfast was a good variety. We really enjoyed our brief stay and will not hesitate to stay again.

Went for a night away with my girlfriend and was a great place to stay. Room was lovely, bed was really comfy and the breakfast was fantastic! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices of the drinks were very reasonable as well. Highly recommend.

The lodge we were upgraded to was fabulous. Such a lovely ambiance as well as being very clean. Our stay was really special.The food in the restaurant was good too and the bar was a friendly place to have a drink. We couldn’t fault anything. The staff were so helpful and friendly.

Eighteen family members and friends stayed for the weekend to celebrate our daughter's 50th Birthday. We had an amazing time at this family run inn. Food,accommodation and service was excellent. We were made so welcome, as were our three dogs. Highly recommend, would certainly return.

My thanks to everyone at the Kings Head Inn for the wonderful time my Mum and I had on our recent short break with you. We stayed in bungalow 2 which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It provided all the amenities we would require for the duration of our stay. There is also ample free parking on site. Although we stayed at the end of September, the weather was still fairly warm but the large fan provided in the room helped considerably. Our breakfast was included in the room rate, and the choice each day was wonderful - we particularly liked the coffee! As we didn't want to travel too far each day, we decided to eat in the restaurant each evening, and again could not fault the food, the choice or the portion sizes. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Kings Head, and hope to be able to return at some point.

Had a brilliant stay at the kings head inn. very pleased with our room, it was very nice, clean and spacious! Breakfast was amazing, staff very welcoming and friendly will definitely be returning at a later date. We came to Rye for a friend's wedding and decided to make a weekend out of it and we are very pleased we did.
