Best Western Plus Ruston Hotel

Staff were very friendly. First room offered had evidence of mold and water damage to ceiling in the bathroom requested a new room which was provided. . I didn’t like putting dirty towels and trash outside the door on the morning. That could have been done if my room was serviced which was not offered until the 3/5. Water ran Luke warm, I prefer hot water. Overall purposeful stay and would consider again.

I didn't use the facilities, so I didn't rate them. The property's condition was good, however. The area around the property was decent. The cleaning staff did not do a good job on the cleanliness rating. The first room I received a key for was well below what I had expected. The bed was made, but the sheets were wrinkled, and it was evident that the sheets had not been changed. The bathroom had not been tended to either. The wash towels looked used and were in disarray. I took the key back down to the attendant, and he apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a key for a different room that was clean. The attendant was very cordial, and I wish I could remember his name. He deserves to be mentioned as an asset to Best Western Plus in Ruston.

The shower was very dirty and run down looking. The white comforter was dirty, so sort of spot on it. Staff was was very nice.

Horrible Hotel and Filed a Complaint We didn't complete our stay. The toilet didn't work. The TV didn't work. When we tried to complain we were met with rudeness. The front desk person asked us to leave. We didn't yell, didn't scream. We were not ugly in any way but I asked foe a manager twice and she refused to call anyone. She initially refused to refund our money but we saw a reversal on my account.

The complication of room door closure for security. The lack of trash containers in room. The bed was comfortable.
