Russell is a great place to relax and explore. Good places to eat, ferries to the other side of the bay, boats to explore further. Thoroughly loved Russell. We selected these apartments as it advertised, as it still does, that it has a BBQ but they have removed this as apparently it was misused by guest. The apartment was fresh and clean with a comfortable bed. Oddly they do not offer a daily room service unless requested and even though we requested this the bed remained unmade and cleaning was was evident. We did not like to say anything as their email prior to arriving seem to suggest that failure to comply with rules guest will be asked to leave. This is a great location and with daily servicing and some refinement in communication then this place would receive 5 stars.

Great little hotel on the waterfront in Russell. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the staff were very polite, chatty and engaging. Had everything needed for a short stay but could easily have stayed longer as the kitchen equipment was ample.

This is a very cute hotel in a charming town.. the location is great as it is right on the boardwalk and a short walk to the pier, restaurants and shops. The rooms facing the water have a gorgeous view but we had a room on the side so that was a bit disappointing. We had a small living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, eating area and patio. Although we enjoyed our stay, I would recommend that the mattresses get replaced as they were too soft (the pullout sofa was awful). In the summer, I would also recommend having two fans (one for the bedroom and one for the living room) . The housekeeping is much more complicated than it needs to be. When I am on vacation I don’t want to read several rules about housekeeping and then remember to submit lists to the office before it closes. I understand that there may not be the staff for full housekeeping so then just come around each day with fresh towels and top up any amenities that have been used.

The most beautifully located place, right on the beachfront. Spacious and super clean, with plunger coffee and lots of towels … loved every aspect. We booked a two bedroom right on the beachfront and sat outside watching the sun go down at our little table and chairs with drinks and nibbles, looking right at the beach and water. Bliss. Friendly host who greeted us warmly. Really hope to get back here for more than one night. Wished we just got takeaways as we could have sat outside all evening it was cold but beautiful. Within easy walking distance to all restaurants, shops etc.

Wonderful place to stay and the owners and staff are great and the service is fantastic They are happy to cater for any needs you may have We have booked in again for next year Definitely worth staying with this beautiful place and looking forward to some great fishing tournament

Very comfortable, clean accommodation within walking distance of all that Russell has to offer. Stayed 2 nights. The bedroom was quiet and very cosy. Lovely selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate, plus real milk, that is, not long-life that you get in most places

Great Place, we made a late reservation and were treated very well indeed. Room was very spacious, light and airy with a 30' stroll to the beachside. The hosts were very helpful and gave us great directions and tips. The stroll to the shops and restaurants was less than 5 minutes. We will return.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Right on the waterfront. We stayed in the Boat House and highly recommend!! It’s quiet, has air con, like a little apartment! The owners were very friendly and professional! This place is centrally located to everything!
