We were in room 76 and the room smelt funny on arrival. On the morning of departure we were awoken at 10:00 am by this inconsiderate cleaner who knocked and walked straight in and did not wait for a reply. We managed to fall back to sleep and then again at 11:00 am there was a repeat performance. I started to felt like that we were being intimidated and they were in a rush to leave even though checkout was at 12:00pm. I paid for a one night stay and I don't appreciate being pushed to leave out of my room earlier than the stated time of 12:00pm!!!

We had a great experience. We had accidentally booked our room for the week ahead, but the woman on desk duty was lovely and changed our booking. Room was comfortable, clean, quiet. It would be nice to have charging stations by the bedside, but that’s my only complaint.

Basically what should one expect for less than £80… the bed was comfy, the water hot… The pissed aggressive folk in the bar at the end of the evening let the place down. I was a female lone traveller and felt extremely uncomfortable and threatened, the very kind staff clearly felt disempowered to deal with them. For this reason, I would not stay here again -my ‘bad’ for being tight.

We visited hotel whilst visiting my mum from Scotland . Staff pleasant and helpful, bed comfy . There were only 3 little *******, one was that disability parking spaces taken up mainly by workmen that were staying at hotel. My husband and I have mobility issues , I walk with a crutch. Whenever we have stayed at premier inns previously there have always been irons and ironing boards in standard rooms, do not understand why now they are only in the premier rooms , and in standard rooms you have to ask for them. Also the hairdryers that are in the rooms are not easy to use for pople with arthritis in there hands, holding power switch down to use dryer is very difficult .

I suffer from Sleep Apnea and the issue is no sockets at the bed side, asked reception for extension lead and told they don't have any and to go to Tesco's Express and buy one, felt uncomfortable as the assistant consulted with what I can only assume to be a patron of the hotel I returned to my room and had to sleep at the bottom of the bed for power socket situated under the TV.

Arrived to check in at 11pm as it was a 24/7 reception. I tried to call them so they were aware of my late arrival, but on 4 times of trying I had no answer so I just had to hope that someone was there to let me in. When I arrived I rang the bell behind the door to be let in by the receptionist, but there was no answer. I waited over 15 minutes and someone finally opened the door (no apology) After checking in, I went straight to my room and headed straight to bed. After settling down, I had a knock on the door from the receptionist saying he put me in the wrong room and I had to move to another room. So picked up all my things and went to the other room. Settled down again to find the receptionist knocked on the door again to say I need to sign for the new room! I asked if this could have been done in the morning? But he insisted that I sign it now... It was all very unprofessional. The new room he put in was exactly the same as the other so no idea why he needed me to move me to another room? It made no sense at all. After finally settling down for the 3rd time, my sleep was again disturbed by noisy neighbours. I went to complain at Reception but again....nobody there...Finally getting to sleep at 2am....I woke up in the morning quite groggy. To suddenly find that a cleaner just came into my room while I was sleeping!! I just wanted to get out at this point. I don't recommend this hotel atl all and won't be visiting again

We stayed at this hotel recently and found it to be clean with friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast choice and quality was excellent and a special mention of the staff at breakfast because they were superb. Nothing was to much trouble and they were very friendly and helpful.

This is a typical Premier Inn. Comfortable beds, decent food and polite service at a reasonable cost. Nothing stands out from other Premier Inns, but at the same time it did what was needed for an overnight stay on a work trip.
