The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is excellent, offering beautiful surroundings and convenient access. However, the breakfast is disappointing, lacking quality and being too light.

The location overlooking the lake is of course fantastic. On-site restaurant and bar are lovely, three pools to choose from (all operational when I was there). If you want to swim in the lake it's a bit of a climb down a wall to get there, or you walk through the bushes behind the small building at the far end of the pool area. Staff was nice even if maybe a bit uninterested, but can't blame them, there were barely any guests and they essentially kept the restaurant and bar open just for a tiny group. Everything friendly and nice. Rooms are a bit dated but everything works fine, so it's alright. WiFi was actually very decent.

Stayed here as part of tour across Senegal. Arrived at the hotel and were surprised by the facilities that include 2 pools and a large deck over the lake, with a fancy bar setup. That’s the positive part. The room was on the smaller side and the bathroom needs an immediate refurbishment. The bed was comfortable and the aircon worked, unlike some of the other reviews. But the mosquitoes are present and definitely biting in the night inside the room…as the mosquito net has holes in it. Also the shower doesn’t work for more than a minute odd for hot water, so be ready for a cold shower. Lastly, we did have a bad experience with the food. Our entire group got ill after dinner and we remained sick for the next 3-4 days…so it was a bad bug. This can happen sometimes but it is too much when coupled with the mosquitoes and the other infrastructure issues. I would give this place the pass.

We stayed here for one night, arriving late and me busting for the toilet after a long drive! One staff member, who spoke English, was super lovely and showed me to the “nice” toilet — there wasn’t any electricity so he also let me use his phone as a light (awwwww). We seemed to be the only people staying there and other staff seemed indifferent to our presence. We had to ask for towels (they were nice ones, once they arrived), our balcony doors didn’t lock and there was a mosquito net over the bed but it had holes in it. The air-con was very poor in the room at first and the shower head squirted water everywhere… my friend and I had a semi-okay sleep — we both woke with sore backs and it was quite cold in the room as the air-con had finally kicked in! We had some difficulty in the restaurant as half the food on the menu was not available and no-one spoke English (that’s okay — I do appreciate it’s not the country’s native language!) — we finally ordered food at 8pm (we were starving) and when it finally arrived, the meal was delicious (and huge!). Note that breakfast isn’t served until 8.30am — it was a very basic continental breakfast (omelet or crepe).

We went there for a day meal/pool and I regret my money. Dish, chicken, dry tasteless even the fries were not good. Dirty pool, not maintained and the deckchairs ditto. We stayed there 1h30..for 24000 CFA for two

The infrastructure of the hotel is very good. Absolute peace and beautiful garden. The rooms are clean and well furnished. The staff of the bar and restaurant is unfriendly, unhelpful, and seems to work there with real reluctance. The kitchen staff is friendly and the dishes are tasty. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10, but although we let them know that we had to leave for work, we only got our first coffee at 8:30, and the service was excruciatingly slow. It took another half hour for the buffet to slowly slowly be filled. Maybe not a problem for holidaymakers, but we were an hour late at the hospital where we had to do consultations. Even after the necessary explanations to the servers, no compensation was given to us. When paying for our drinks, a bill of 7,500 CFA, the staff had to spend another five minutes looking for a calculator to work out how much change they had to give out of 10,000. They didn't take my word for it when I said it was 2,500 (and after so much reluctance I refused to leave a tip).
