We spent a wonderful few days as guests of Jamie and Jerry and all the staff at Kulinda. Very comfortable room, lovely food and excellent safari drives with a talented and knowledgable guide - Francis. We also enjoyed the trips on the river and the plunge pool. We saw a great variety of animals and particularly liked the fact that the National Park is relatively new and so we were able to enjoy watching them without being crowded by lots of other tourists.

What an absolutely incredible stay at Selous Kulinda Camp. Everything was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon, nothing was too much trouble. From the warm welcome to the extensive knowledge of our driver, Emmanuel, it was just incredible. Our waiter was the kindest man, and the chef was amazing! Gluten free pancakes every morning, and essentially everything on offer made gluten free. Perfect bush lunches and bush tea breaks! Delicious Dowa cocktails! And friendly staff and managers. The cheeky baboons really made our stay. Watching them cause havoc is just hilarious, although probably not for the managers! And the cutest resident bushbaby that we looked out for every night. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, Thankyou for making our honeymoon so special!

My wife and I have just got back from our honeymoon which began with a 4 night stay here and we are lost for words in trying to describe how incredible the experience was! From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome, our guide Francis picked us up at the airport and took us on our first afternoon drive where we had a fantastic lunch provided by the camp sat by the Rufiji river. The camp itself is everything you need and more, the wonderful hosts Jerry and Jamie welcomed us on arrival at the camp and were there for us throughout the stay for everything we needed. Our tent was extremely well looked after with everything that you could need considering where you are in the world! The pool was a great addition to have available after a long hot days safari, looking out over the river and surrounded by the friendly baboons! The food is a packed lunch provided by the camp each day, and a set menu at night and every meal was fantastic, with a large variety of different dishes each evening! Chande, our wonderful waiter, was on hand for everything and anything, always bringing us drinks when we needed them and always smiling! I really enjoyed learning Swahili from Chande with a few new words each day. On our final night Chande put on a special evening meal for us to celebrate our honeymoon by the bush fire which was absolutely incredible and a memory we'll never forget. The whole team sang Jambo Bwana and danced along, the experience made our stay so special! Finally to our guide Francis, thank you so much! Francis was a fountain of knowledge and a calming presence when we were charged by an elephant which was quite scary at first! Every single day Francis created more incredible memories by managing to find exactly what we wanted to see. The passion and drive he has for what he does was really inspiring. To all at Selous Kulinda Camp, 'asante sana' for making our honeymoon so unforgettable!

We spent the first stage of our honeymoon on safari, staying at Selous Kulinda camp. Selous Kulinda is excellent in all respects. The accommodation is spacious, clean and well maintained (and in a beautiful setting) the food is excellent and our safari guide, Francis, was of the highest quality. Most of all, however, our hosts Jaime and Gerry were absolutely marvellous. They went above and beyond in every respect and I couldn't speak more highly of them as hosts. I would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

This place is just magic 💫. The whole camp is beautiful, the attention to detail is exceptional. From the moment we landed at the airstrip to the moment we departed (with a packed lunch for our journey) everything was smooth sailing and we were taken such good care of. There is such a personal touch to everything. You have a dedicated waiter for your time there and we struck gold with Chande who was the smiliest and loveliest man. Pure sunshine in human form ☀️. Our guide for the game drives was Francis and he was amazing. Passionate about his job he has so much knowledge. He asked us what we wanted to see and then made it happen. There are no guarantees as this is a reserve not a zoo, but Francis’ expert knowledge meant he knew where to go for the best chance. And it worked every time. We were the first people to see lions for a few days apparently! The set menu is delicious - all likes/dislikes and allergies are taken into account but I loved the ease of not having to make a decision! Our room was beautiful - we had a spectacular view and a private plunge pool which was very welcome after a day in the park. We went on the boat sunset safari where we saw so many small birds and animals (the guide could spot things from so far away!!!) and then some big things too (hippos and crocs!) before stopping on the river bank for a gorgeous African sunset with cold beer and popcorn supplied. Finally the hosts Jamie and Jerry are amazing. They have created something so special here and take so much pride in giving their guests the best stay. This place far exceeded any expectations I had.

This was our first safari as a family and Selous Kulinda Camp could not have been more perfect. The warmest of welcomes every day from Jerry, Jamie and the staff, delicious food, evening entertainment, spotless, roomy and comfortable accommodation. We arrived in camp a day late due to flight delays but they arranged an extra night for us which we truly appreciated. All the staff were excellent including John our waiter and Baggio who escorted us to and from our luxury tents each evening. A super special mention goes to Francis, our safari guide, who made sure we saw all the animals and birds the park has to offer and educated us on each of them. His ability to spot the wildlife whilst driving has to be seen to be believed! The park itself is beautiful with varied terrain, lots of lakes and trees as well as open areas. It wasn't over-run with safari vehicles either like I've heard some places can be. I think there was only 1 occasion where there were more than 2 vehicles in the same sighting and most of the time we were the only ones. Highly recommend.

I had an incredible time! The tent was spotless and super luxurious, making it feel like a little slice of paradise in the middle of the wild. And the pool was an amazing touch —a perfect spot to chill out and soak up the views. The food was next-level delicious, and every meal was a treat. The staff were so friendly and helpful; they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We did a walking tour, a game drive, and a boat river cruise, and each one was such a blast. We saw so many different animals, and it was just an all-around amazing experience! Highly recommend this place if you're looking for an unforgettable Tanzania safari adventure!
