Pleasant one night stay. Some of the reviews I read seemed quite negative, so I was a bit concerned, but I enjoyed it. Cheap and cheerful!
It is quite noisy with the bar downstairs and the road noise outside (I stayed on a Saturday night), but I had headphones in and that blocked out most noise. Wall between me and the next room was quite thin, and I could hear the TV.
Slept well, shower was powerful and hot, nice sausage sandwich for breakfast - nothing special but perfectly adequate.
Check-in instructions on booking email stressed the importance of phoning ahead and an online checking in - when I did phone they had no idea why I was doing so, basically you arrive and register at the bar. You will need some form of ID.
Ultimately I would happily stay here again. It was convenient for the railway station and for a walk around the town centre - which I hope to see more of in daylight next time!
