The room offered sufficient space, the bathroom was clean and looked new. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a large variety of food and drinks. The sauna is also very recommandable. The location is central. There is a shopping mall just across the street, local and long distance bus stops are nearby. Personnel was very friendly and supportive.

We stayed 3 nights spread out over our week in Rov. Each time check in was a breeze, each room was clean, warm, comfortable and the wet room had lashing of hot water. Perfect after a busy day of activities. The breakfast was exceptional for the price. Try the buttery porridge it’s amazing and I’m 🏴. Boiled eggs,meats, cheese, yoghurt and the best bread for toasting. There is even a kitchen for guests to make their own meals and a funky lounge area. And not forgetting the large sauna. All in this is the perfect base for a holiday,we even used the underground car park. Highly recommend this excellent place and it’s friendly staff

The staff at The Arctic City Hotel went out of their way to help us during a very difficult time. Prior to our arrival, our plans were disrupted by the sudden and unexpected death of a family member. We were devastated by the news and were unsure of how to proceed with our travel plans. The staff went above and beyond to help us navigate through changes to our itinerary. We were particularly touched by the staff’s emails offering kind words and condolences. It meant a lot to us. We cannot thank the good people at The Arctic City Hotel enough for your kindness and understanding during this difficult time. Title: ”Defiant stay at Hotel Santa Claus, Rovaniemi” --- During our recent stay at Hotel Santa Claus, Rovaniemi, we experience both positive and negative points. This four-star hotel, located in the heart of the city, promised a charming experience but revealed some failures. Positive aspects: 1. **Central location **: Located in the centre of Rovaniemi, the hotel offers easy access to various local attractions. Negative aspects: 1. **Repeat and disorganized breakfast**: The breakfast offer was not changed, making it monotonous throughout the stay. In addition, the lack of organization and cleaning at the tables was noticeable. Although we were asked to choose a breakfast time, there was no effective control, resulting in confusion and disorder in the buffet. 2. **Lack of cleaning and comfort in the room**: lack of cream in the bathroom and lack of cleaning of the 3. **Insufficient accommodation for clothes**: The biggest difficulty was the absence of an adequate clothes in the room, especially challenging for a family of four people with winter clothes The hotel was located in the hotel, and the breakfast was not organised in the room. in the cleaning and accommodation of the rooms compromise the experience of stay. I would recommend to the hotel managers to review these aspects to ensure that future guests have a more pleasant and comfortable experience.

I used it as a couple in December 2022.
It is located about 5 minutes on foot from the k supermarket in the city center, and is in the opposite direction from the area where restaurants are gathered.
Although it was the winter season, the sidewalks were cleanly cleared of snow, and after getting off the bus in front of the supermarket, you could walk to the hotel while rolling your carry-on bag.
Not far enough to take a taxi.
There are many houses around and it is quiet.
I didn't use it, but there seems to be a sauna.
Breakfast was delicious. It was a general menu such as bread, ham, cheese, salad, yogurt.
The room was clean, but there was no safe.
There is no partition between the shower and the toilet in the bathroom, so the toilet gets soaked when you take a shower.
Overall, it is a recommended hotel.

Stayed at Arctic Light Hotel during a conference in Rovaniemi. Got a fairly small top-floor room with a roof window (hence, no view but of the late-summer sky). I think this room was slightly cheaper than a regular room. It was located close to an elevator, which I could hear but it did not bother me. The room was very clean, nice and cozy - and a good place to retreat back to after long conference days. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good selection of food, yogurts, cakes and coffee. The only downside was getting a thin orange juice from a machine. Fresh juice would have been more appropriate among all the other good food. The two gentlemen at the reception desk, Mark and Max, had a very pleasant manner and provided excellent service and advice. The hotel itself, located in the old city hall, is brilliant and good looking and beautifully designed. Definitely a place to recommend!

The hotel room is not very big and the bathroom is a bit crowded. It can be seen that the decoration has been for a long time, but the health is very very clean. All staff are great. The breakfast is also great. I also prepared a lot of guide information in Chinese to go to Santa Village by car. Very convenient from the airport to the hotel by bus 7 Euros like most European hotels do not provide free disposable slippers and toiletries

🚗 Traffic: The only drawback is that it's really far away and you can take a taxi anywhere. There is a hotel special bus in the morning but it's missed. Everything else is fine.

When I went there, I didn't know that check-in was done at the front desk of Santa's Hotel, my sister hotel Santa Claus, so I had to walk for about 10 minutes. However, it is easy to check out by simply placing it in the mailbox at the entrance of Santas Hotel Rudolf. They are very comfortable and stylishly furnished, and have many conveniences, such as shampoos, pots and teas, and hair dryers. The reception at the Santa Claus Hotel is very friendly and polite, so it has received more appreciation.

We booked on booking.com, but when we arrived to check in we were told our room had been double booked and we were being downgraded. We had originally booked the room with private sauna, so were very disappointed that we did not have this facility, particularly as the communal sauna is only open for around 3 hours per day and we had an activity booked the same time so could not use it at all. The location is stunning and we had fun walking the various trails from the hotel. We had two activities booked which both collected from the hotel, but otherwise we had to get taxis to and from the town centre as there is no public transport to the hotel. Taxis cost around €20 each way, and reception can book them for you. Room was nice, but the light switches were quite difficult to use. We were also a bit cold and could not see a way to up the temperature. The bath was lovely, and came with bubble bath, robes and slippers which we made use of. Our view was of a car park, so that was not great. Breakfast was amazing, lovely views and they even had honey on the comb. You have to book the restaurant in advance, or make alternative plans (but keep in mind there are not really any other options around the hotel). Staff were friendly.
