Aito Igloo & Spa Resort

Fantastic stay, complimentary airport pick up and drop off was valuable. The staff was helpful and friendly, always willing to help. The igloo was nice and cosy though a bit small.

Me and my husband were looking forward to a nice and luxurious day at the SPA together but it was not worth the money. Not at all! It all started out with me not being able to complete the online booking and when calling the reception for help I was promised to receive a link for my reservation directly. I had to explain my self several times, through phone and email, and still they managed to get it wrong. It is clear there is no feeling of responsibility in delivering quality towards the guests. Lack of responsibility all together. When we did arrive I was charged two times. Dubble amount and had to talk to reception once again about fixing it. Still it was wrong so I had to call once more in order to sorting it out. Nice facilities but service and costumer awareness is zero. I would not spend that much money there again. If you would stay at the Grand Hotel you can expect service that would match the 5 star rating. Not here. It was overall lack of education and awareness of the whole operation. The gentleman in the SPA was professional. The only one out of everyone. Additional to that there was kids playing around with the computer in the spa and obviously the kids of someone employed there. In conclusion. 5 star prices but not 5 star operations.

we stayed at the aurora nest during october 2025, and we saw wonderful aurora and nature -aurora nest: it was by the lake and it had a panoramic view during night, we saw huge aurora dancing across the sky and it was a perfect room to watch aurora -nice restaurant: we had dinner for two nights and the price was reasonable and it was worth money -passionate staffs: Fidella and the entire staffs were very attentive and friendly. Whenever we had inquiries, even during night, they tried their best to solve the issues. -beautiful surrounding nature: they have wonderful nature, they had forest and lake by side. Moreover, by surprise, there was also a couple of adorable reindeers. So we could enjoy beautiful Finnish nature during stay. We really recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Rovaniemi
